I ordered for pick up by calling the restaurant. The main reason I chose to order from here is the cheap prices. I ordered 3 meals and went to pick it up expecting to pay $35 (that was the price of the 3 meals all together on their website) I go in the restaurant and to my surprise the staff says total is $49. I get confused and look at the receipt she is handing me. Steak and eggs is $19 instead of $15 how it says on their menu. Country breakfast was $15 instead of $11, and John’s breakfast $12 instead of $9. So the total being $15 more than it was supposed to. I tell the staff that’s not the prices on their website, and she says sorry we haven’t changed yet. I said okay I guess and paid. I guess what else am I supposed to do they already made the food. But I think that is false advertising and not okay to do. If it was $3-5 more than expected I wouldn’t be making a review. It would’ve been annoying but not that big of a deal. But if I knew the food would have been $15 more I wouldn’t have chose to order from here. Prices should be changed on website right when they are changed because...

I already knew about this place's lasagna- and nothing else- because I had been there once and only had time for that, afterward diving into my car and throwing myself on the UMMC ward for emergency duty. The taste was in my mouth all night even though I had eaten a ton of mints. Fantastic! a couple of years later my mother came up from Knoxville on holiday and I took her to the Parkway. The waitress acted like we were neighbors. I asked about the lasagna and she said "Of course". My mother raved as did my fiance and I. I make great lasagna, but I can't make it that good. Since that time we've, of course, returned. Mother has since died. But the memory of lasagna at the Parkway will remain in my mind for as long as I have one. Its been around a long time and will probably be around after I'm long gone. Everyone has always been so nice to us. The portions seem a little too large. Price is good. Introducing visiting family to Worcester? Treat them to the Parkway. They will love you...

I was having a bad day as I just found out my mother has cancer after losing my bf to brain cancer. So, I decided to go to Parkway diner for a Bloody Mary and a meatball to just have a moment alone and collect my thoughts. I asked the waitress for a bloody Mary with no horseradish. She brings me back a bloody Mary and I can clearly taste horseradish. So I asked her is there a horseradish in this and she says, “I didn’t add any horseradish, but I used this mix”. The Ocean Spray bloody Mary mix does have horseradish in it. Since she’s the one who was bartending, she should have told me that prior, but she didn’t. She should have offered to make me something else or offered to take it off the bill or even said, “I’m sorry about that, I didn’t realize it had horseradish in the mix”, she did nothing. The bill came to $17 and some change. I left $25. I’ll never go back again and I will never recommend this diner to anyone. I am so tired of bad service and...

This is a historical landmark, the place has been here forever, right in the center of what used to be little Italy in Worcester, now it is all Brazilian. Used to be neat to go into the dinner section to see all the old school Italian old men gather there when John the original owner used to cook on Sundays. John is still alive but too old to cook now, so his grandson has taken over. I love the food here, especially the hangover plate. I just don't like the service, those girls are not friendly and they only treat their friends well. It is worth a visit on a Sunday morning to sit at the dinner reminiscent of the good old days.

I gotta say… I love these tiny diners that are all around the city! Had a great breakfast outside on a beautiful Saturday morning. The staff was sooo friendly, and my egg sandwich and home fries were delicious *chefs kiss. It was the first time I’ve heard a Kaiser roll called a “bulky roll”. Let me be honest, I prefer that name. I’m just glad that old school diners like this are still around. Now that Worcester is my new favorite city, I plan on coming back regularly and eating more tasty breakfasts at the Parkway Diner!
