Wayne's Pizza — Restaurant in Worcester

I placed an order for Island Counseling Center today at 11:05am on line. I paid with a debit card and the money was removed from the card holder's bank account at that time. I called at 12:08 pm, as our order had not arrived and people were on their lunch breaks. I was told that the order had never been received and had to give the order all over again to the person on the phone. I was told that it would be delivered. At 1:10 pm, my co-worker called them again and was treated rudely and unprofessionally by the person on the other end of the phone. He was told that there were "five or six other orders ahead of yours" and they would get it here "as soon as we can". It finally showed up at about 1:20pm, about 2 hours and 15 minutes after it was ordered. AND they overcharged us on the whole order. We have been ordering from Wayne's on an average of twice weekly for the last 6 months or so and there has never been a problem, until now. I can assure you that we will not be ordering from this establishment again. YOU HAVE JUST LOST A...

The best steak and cheese I have ever had on the east coast are made here.

They are so good that I’m 100% convinced they should rebrand the restaurant and just sell steak and cheese subs all day.

My best friend and I use to order from here all the time.. He died a year and a half ago which is still so weird and hard to wrap my head around…

But after we would finish one of their large steak and cheese subs this one time, we were trying to figure out the best way to describe how we felt after eating it..

We were all silence and my friend said “Meat sweats”

We all died laughing in his living room because it was the perfect way to describe it.

Such a filling sub.. and truly so good.

You guys created beautiful memories that will stick with me forever.. and that was all because you care about the quality of your food.

Their Pizza is delicious. I mostly love the steak & cheese wraps/subs and the BLT wraps. We've tried almost everything on the menu and we have no complaints. We go either to "Wayne's" or "Fastway" the most. They are also diagonally across from each other. 😋

The only pizza places I ever gave a 5☆ to is Angelo's and Pizza Express both in Waltham. Unfortunately, Pizza Express has been long gone. The competition with more cheese, deep dish and odd toppings were the rage.

Pizza Exprees who served original REAL Italian pizzas, always thin crust bottoms, crispy crust edges, and typical toppings went down in flames. If only I could find a pizza joint like the old days, I'd be in pizza heaven.

I heard some places still do it that way in some cities and other States but the one's I have tried where I could were close but not exactly the same.

I'll stick to "Wayne's" because they are also close to the original flavor and style I'm...
