Let me put this first and foremost, i LOVE Greek food. If the last name didn't give it away already, I am Greek. So going into dinner I was expecting two things common for most every greek restaurant: amazing food, and high price points. So when I ordered tonight celebrating my father's birthday, I was fully ready for the cost of my meal. No problem there. What went wrong... FIrst was our needing to drag our server out to get our drinks. It's just water guys. Today was sweltering, and half the restaurant's A.C. wasn't working. Which happens, but you could at least help us out with water. Common sense yes? Second was out of our server's hands, but the cook's. Completely dry chicken (must not have got it's water either.) The lemon chicken rice soup came out without any rice at all in it. Just the base, and what looked like cubed chicken from a can. Sent it back to get rice, and what returned just wasn't worth eating. This is actually the first time i've had a lousy time eating at a Greek restaurant. I'm a returning customer, so I know this food can be better. The owner comped us our dessert, which was kind of him. It's a good restaurant, I don't know what happened.
TL;DR - bad service and food tonight, no where near the quality...

It was someone's birthday and we agreed to meet here in the late afternoon. It wasn't crowded at all, there was probably six patrons within the restaurant as we walked in.
After we found our party and sat down, we were met with such a friendly waitress. We agreed on calamari and the bacon wrapped scallops for appetizers. We were told the calamari would be enough for us.. it wasn't. It was soo good for three people we should have ordered two instead of one! The bacon wrapped scallops were so tender and the flavor of the bacon melted into it.
We ordered our main dishes and I opted for the lamb kabob. It was so juicy and tender. I settled for medium rare and it was cooked on point! It came with either a soup or salad I chose French onion because I really wanted to try their version of French onion. The onions and cheese were melty and soft, I really enjoyed it. It went well with my lamb.
I washed this all down with a Down East cider. It wasn't your typical tasting apple cider it was citrusy and really complimented the lamb.
Service was on par, food was great and the portions of the main dish was just right. Plus there's...
