St. James Place — Restaurant in Worth Township

I've never left a review in my life, but I couldn't let this go. Me and my friends have been coming to this place for years and were welcomed regulars. We have always made friendly conversation and tipped the bartenders well. (I was a bartender at one point.) This particular night we did our thing and choose some music from the service they provide. At around 12 am we get approached by the bartender. She was making a scene and yelling at us for our music. She claimed that our music, that we paid for, made all their customers leave (this was at the end of a football game.) I calmly told her that we paid for the service that they provide and if they didn't want to hear it they shouldn't provide a service that offers it. Owner only cares about some guy that isn’t there mentally. We had multiple issues with him, but instead her calling Oaklawn police who have nothing better than just wait for a call from st James Owner and tell her story which isn’t real!! They put the window up on my husband so she could tell her story about the guy who she already knew was issue and she assured us if we were to get in a argument with him we would get booked by oaklawn police. FYI they don’t have security so you could walk in with weapons. Place is so unsafe!! Save your time and go to deja brew or the whistle down...

If you want poor customer service from a bartender, this is the place to go. Every time that I asked for a drink, Kelly acted like I was bothering her. She kept rolling her eyes, slamming bottles down, snatching my money and huffing/puffing when I asked for more juice. I finally asked her if she was having a bad day.
