Somewhere this bank just stopped caring like it used to. Ive been with this bank for over 20 years. Recently , the service is garbage. Today I went in to get a signature stamp on my lunch break. The ONE banker on duty was at lunch, at noon. They dont start until later in the morning and they take their lunch when us plebs take our break, to go to the bank. How inconsiderate and unprofessional. I left work early at 2pm to try again, this time Hector was there, but was too busy on the phone chatting ( sounded like a personal call ). When I finally got to see him, another woman was allowed to go ahead of me even though she arrived after I did. I left before I said something I would regret. I cannot believe the level of incompetence at this bank. Staffing one banker on a busy Friday ?? The 3 useless ladies at the counter were rude and ignored me both times. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! You changed your hours at several locations (at 8am was the company decision as im told) due to the virus, without posting so much as a sign on the front door. So when I call and ask if I need to withdrawl money if your location is closing, I'm told by customer service representative Yaris, that "its a little too extreme." This is our lively hood in your hands. The lack of communication with your customers is unacceptable. While I'm on hold, Yaris answers her phone again and begins to bicker with me regarding the closure, I explain to her that I'll stay on hold for a supervisor, just for her to continue talking over me and explaining why im in the wrong for asking if the location will be closing. Read moreI was at this location today trying to cash an echeck from my past employer that banks with BMO Harris also. Long story short I tried opening an account with the echeck I was cashing an the bank tellers were able to verify my echeck was legit by calling the employer that sent the check to me, but once the bank teller got confirmation he then went back to his branch manager an explained everything checked out, but the branch manager still denied me to cash the check even with verification was confirmed. Its unfortunate that this bank manager denied me due to a echeck that was very real and not fake. I understand there's a lot fraud and scamming going on, but she did not read the situation well, just quickly decided/judged me that this is suspicious.
