Amazing Atmosphere & Great Food – A Few Small Misses
We had a wonderful dining experience at Luna Bar & Bistro last night! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful decor and inviting vibe. The color scheme, glassware, and overall ambiance were stunning, and everything was impeccably clean.
Our server, Hassan, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made excellent recommendations, which we really appreciated.
We started with drinks; I had the Meteor Shower, which was absolutely delicious, and my husband tried a Long Drink, which he also enjoyed. For our appetizer, we chose the Burrata Bruschetta. The flavors were spot on, and the tomatoes were incredibly fresh. However, the burrata was a bit drier than expected, and the crostini was a little too hard for our liking.
For entrées, I ordered their Surf & Turf special—a 6oz filet and lobster tail. Both were cooked to perfection! The filet was seasoned beautifully and had the perfect medium doneness I requested. The lobster tail was tender, poached perfectly, and paired well with the lemon and butter. The zip sauce was also a standout! My only critiques were that some of my vegetables were over-charred, and the potato pavé was a bit too crispy.
My husband had the 14oz ribeye, also cooked to medium, and it was perfect—juicy, well-seasoned, and flavorful. However, his vegetables were on the opposite end of the spectrum—undercooked and too firm.
To finish off my birthday dinner, we shared the Lemon Blueberry Mascarpone Cake, and it was amazing! The balance of flavors was perfect, not overly sweet, with a lovely muffin-like texture. Served with vanilla ice cream, it was the perfect ending to our meal.
Overall, the food was great, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Pricing felt fair for the quality, but we just wish the vegetables had been prepared with a little more care. Despite that, we’ll definitely be back to try more dishes—especially for special...

Read moreThe atmosphere with the Jay at the piano and Marvin on vocals was excellent! It was the highlight of the evening!!! Then lobster bisque was flavorful but lacking actual bits of real lobster! My husband's rainbow trout was above average with the potatoes the highlight of the dish. My lamb chops were a big disappointment! They were definitely frozen first! I asked for medium rare and they were served well done! I asked for the lamb chops to be remade only to be disappointed a second time! It took another 15 minutes for the lamb chops to be served!! Then the lamb chops were cold and raw! Two of the 5 chops were cooked medium rare! It took over an hour for the main courses to be served. We were told that the chef was in training! Where was the supervision from the owner and head chef? Our server Aurora was above average. She did compensate us but to spend 2+ hours for food be correct is not worth it! Would we try this establishment again? NO!! Not at these...
