EDIT Almost 2 months later and I still haven't been contacted emailed or notified by "Janice". Management can't handle pressure, nobody has any answers but Palermo's can take and process your payment and keep your money whilw pocketing your profits... Such a great and professional business. " MeWhere you can spend your money and not receive what you've paid for...*
I've been a loyal customer for well over a decade. I host UFC events at my home ....and always order the 24" party pizza and never had an issue until today. I ordered an 18" pizza a couple hours ago and it was delivered lopsided with almost all the cheese and toppings spilled over to one side. After calling and venting my frustrations my neighbor comes to my door upset that the delivery driver almost hit him with his car and told him to get the f* out of the road. I proceeded to call this location back (52nd and Gezon) to let them know that type of behavior was not acceptable. After arguing with an employee who claimed my pizza was lopsided due to the extra sauce and cheese I called back and spoke with the manager who also claimed the same thing. I was told my pizza would be replaced and would arrive at my home within 15 minutes which never came. As a former employee of Guiseppes, Happys and Vitale's pizza I have a total of 7 years of experience as both a cook and a driver and have never had an these issues nor been treated with or witnessed this amount of disrespect and unprofessionalism. My issue was never resolved, a replacement pizza was never delivered nor was my money ever refunded back to me. I will never order another pizza from this location or recommend anybody ever order from this location again. Complete and utter trash.
UPDATE I was told that I would be contacted by Janice (the owner) about resolving this issue and was never contacted. After waiting 2 hours for my replacement pizza I called to find out that Janice put a stop on my order and was told not to deliver my food or refund my money due to the altercation her driver had with my neighbor. I said nevermind forget the pizza I will be up there to get my money and was told if I stepped foot on their property that I'd be going to jail and they hung up on me. Seems to me like the problems stem from the root of the company. I won't be ordering from any Palermo's or Vitale's again as they are family. I guess I'll just stick to Jo Jo's pizza where their deals are better, their food is always early and their staff is nothing but courteous and respectful....
Read moreIf I could give this place no stars I would. I ordered a pizza from them and it was not cooked in the center waste if money no one ate it. Tried to call and order something different and the manager/owner answered I asked if they had fresh mushrooms and she said yeah so are you going to order. As I ordered I could hear her laughing and talking to other people then she proceeded to tell me she wasn't listening and to repeat the order. I had to say the order 3 times all of which she never heard me because every time I ordered she would start to talk to other people. Then she asked me to say it for a fourth time which at this point I was a bit upset so I had said to her mame I've said this order 3xs all of which you were speaking to other people that is extremely rude. You could of asked me to hold if you were in the middle of something instead of having me repeat it so many times only to ignore everything I said. So instead of apologizing all she could say was so are you going to order or not then hung up the phone on me. This was the worst customer service I've experienced in a very long time. All of my family and friends who order from there are now aware if this and will never return. And I sincerely hope this is not how you run humour business daily or train your employees to treat...
Read moreMy review isn't about the food. It's about the service. I didn't even know this place existed until I noticed it as I was walking out of Target across the street. I drove over (semi truck, so I had to park on the side of the building). I walked to the door, but it's locked as their only doing curbside because of covid-19. Understandable, I try to call. Three times it comes up as unreachable. I notice a woman coming out to hand food to another person that was waiting. She noticed me, and I explained that I tried to call but couldn't get through. She said to hold on a minute. Ok, no problem. Three times, she said the same thing to me. I waited, each time saying 'no problem'. Then as she is bringing out food the fourth time (10 minutes have gone by, and it's raining), she then says 'we're extremely busy, so you're going to have to call us on the phone'.
If she would've said that in the beginning, I would've tried calling again, but she led me to believe she would be taking my order right there.
They could very well have the best pizza in town, but I'll never find out. Thanks for...
