On December 4th, I arrived to the drive-thru around 5pm to place an order at the intercom (they weren’t accepting orders at the booths because it was snowing). The person at the intercom continuously cut me off as I was specifying what I wanted and when I told them to stop cutting me off, they yelled through the speaker for me "not to be rude." I discontinued my order at the speaker and waited to pull up to the drive-thru window to speak with a manager. The manager was the same person at the speaker. When I shared with them that my order was incorrect the last time I came due to the same person not actively listening, he continued to be curt and arrogant. I told him that I was no longer interested in placing an order with him and instead wanted the information to file a complaint with corporate. He refused to provide me his name (wasn’t wearing a name tag) or the information to contact corporate.
I went on the company’s website and proceeded to find the process to file a complaint and sat in the drive-thru until I was done. There was another employee that addressed me in the drive-thru telling me that I needed to leave, and when I asked his name as well, he threatened to call the police.
It was extremely lacking in customer service and human interaction. It’s apparent that the manager doesn’t have healthy leadership, and he thought he could speak to me that way because I'm a Black woman. They wouldn't have approached or spoken to any other customer that way, especially since they initiated and escalated the interaction at every step. I've frequented this location several times and had only had issues those last two visits (based on accuracy and service).
It was so unbecoming of a manager and staff, and to threaten a Black person with police violence when I wasn’t aggressive or threatening is wildly privileged and racist.
I was going to have this resolved with corporate instead of leaving a review because I felt this could’ve been a teaching and coaching opportunity, but it’s been over a month and I still haven’t received any follow-up. Nobody in their right mind would continue to frequent and spend their money with a company that seemingly doesn’t hold their staff and managing employees to a certain standard, and allows them to threaten customers with...
Read moreWon't be returning. I ordered two super sonic breakfast burritos and an order of Cinnabon snacks. I only had one person in front of me at the drive through. I patiently waited 15 minuets to recieve my order through this hilariously short line. Recieved my order and it was wrong. I only received two regular sausage breakfast burritos. After calling the employee was only willing to take my name down for a credit, I was sitting in their parking lot. Having already waited 15 minuets it wouldn't seem unreasonable to just BRING me the food I had actually paid for. Employee claimed that because 'nobody wants to work because of the corona virus' so its the reason they can't replace my food and insisted I now wait behind 12 other cars and possibly extenuating my time having to wait for "fast food" no, I was not nice to this employee because she did the absolute minimum to see to a customer received proper service.
The Corona virus has absolutely nothing with people not wanting to work at sonic. People are not receiving $1000 checks on unemployment right now. The unemployment benefits ended in July. Pwople don't want to work for meger wages part time at a fast food joint that clearly has continued to increasingly go further and further down hill. I've been coming here since the location was opened, we used to be allowed to have car meets here, we tried to chase out riff raff, then management started treating to call the police on the very same people who had been coming to this location for almost a decade. Several times in the past year I have received over salted or cold food and this is it, I've had it. I won't be returning. I don't care that my money was refunded. I wanted what i paid for. I won't...
Read moreWas there yesterday afternoon around 5pm with my kid. I only ate a large chili cheese tot and watermelon slush. My kid ordered a cheeseburger and mozzarella cheese sticks and blue raspberry slush. First off, my tots tasted like they had been sitting for a long time. They weren't fresh at all. My kid said the same thing about the cheese sticks. My watermelon slush lacked enough of the flavoring. I was disappointed. Now this is the only thing I ate yesterday. Within about an hour my intestines started to feel funny. My stomach didn't feel good either. I figured it was because that's all I had eaten that day and my body was trying to process it. Well, here it is the next morning, 7:40. I've been up since 6:30, on the toilet several times...diarrhea. After the 5th trip, I'm still on the commode and my stomach feels like it's gonna hurl. I grab a bucket near the sink and vomit inside of it...chili and chewed up tots. OMFG!! Are you fricken kidding me??!! Food poisoning?! The chili cheese tots didn't taste good going down and sure as heck tasted worse coming back up. I've been to this Sonic dozens of times and this was the worse experience I've ever had. I don't enjoy paying to get sick. I might stop here for shakes but won't eat the food ever again. All it takes is one bad experience to ruin heir reputation for me. Eat here at your own risk! OMFG, I gotta run to the...
