Buffet in Wyomissing! A lot to take in with some good stand outs. Salad bar is very good and stocked well. Salads are well represented and the dressings are all good. The fried chicken has a nice cumin taste running through it which I found tasty and very comfort foodish. The steak is thin, but since it's cooked while you wait may be a good thing! Shrimp on the same grille lends the peel and eat a really good taste. The potatoes were a little disappointing as I felt they were too watery, but had a decent taste. The mac and cheese bar consisted of buttery noodles which you could put cheese sauce, stewed tomatoes or meat sauce. They were all good choices. The soup I had was seafood and was good. The stand out breads and rolls were wonderful as was the cakes I tried. The baked goods were absolutely wonderful. The server was friendly and attentive. Passing the baked goods and the massive cheesecakes is a testament to how much you can control your urges to get the pastries back to your own table! Pies are great and cupcakes are wonderful. Family friendly and group friendly. The owner will personally thank you for coming in and it's a nice touch. Recomended.

Our server Bertha (birdie) was awesome, 5 ⭐️ for her, she was the sweetest, food was good, my daughter loves the donuts, the bad part it’s that I’m on a diet for medical reason, I asked the guy on the omelette section if he can do my eggs without oil, he was so rude first asking me like two times whaaat? I know I have accent but I can clearly said oil, the second time he was like oh no I can’t, because the eggs would stick on the grill, so I asked him if he can put butter instead, and again I have to repeat like two times and then he was like no the only thing I have is this showing me the oil, I understand that they don't have to have butter and I even understand that it sticks, it didn't bother me that they didn't have butter or that they couldn't do it without oil, I was annoyed by his attitude, I asked the lady of the French toast for bacon and she also told me with attitude where your plate is, when she had dishes in the back to serve and no one else in the line had a plate either, she made me go for one, I feel that the attention from them 2 is definitely not the same for Hispanic people.

The food was good, but the waitress we had made some questionable remarks that left a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak. First, she told us we didn’t have to wear masks if we were vaccinated (most say that now) or if we “identify as vaccinated,” in her words. She chuckled and said “I identify as vaccinated!” She also talked to the table behind us about the “planned-demic” as she called it. Whatever her beliefs are, her inappropriate comments do not belong at work and can make people uncomfortable. Other than her comments, she was a nice waitress, and the rest of the staff seemed really great too. The buffet we went to was for brunch, so there was a nice mix of both breakfast and lunch items to choose from. There were people behind each area to fill your plates, so you don’t have all the customers touching the food. The fries were made fresh when I asked if they had any, and the crepes were made in front of you as you order them.

Was there last Thursday with my elderly 80 yr old and 82 yr old parents. Didn't know they they closed at 3pm daily now and it was 2:45 so I suggested to my parents that we go elsewhere. My elderly father went to to use bathroom and the manager or owner said it wasn't too late to come in and that they would still serve my parents even if they closed in 15 minutes. Was seated and ordered by a waitress who clearly didn't want to be there or work past 3pm my mother is suffering with dementia and was on her phone and didn't understand the restaurant was closing at 3pm the waitress and was rice and annoyed just taking my mother's order and then said with anger " after your order, I'm done for the day, I had enough" and made a slashing motion with her fingers across her throat. I let that slide. Our food came out and towards the end of our rushed meal at around 3:26 my mom asked the waitress what kind of fruit they had or if they had fruit cups. Again mind you my mom is suffering with dementia and doesn't understand or realize the restaurant is technically closed even though there are a few people still finishing up eating.. the waitress snaps back " Are you kidding me? Are you seriously going to ask for a fruit cup when the restaurant is closed and we all want to go home. I can't believe you" Finally after not being able to hold my tongue back any longer I quietly but sternly told the waitress " my mother has dementia and doesn't understand the restaurant is closed and I don't appreciate how your talking to her" The waitress apologized even though it sounded completely condescending and insincere and offered a fruit cup. At that point I had enough and told my father I was waiting outside and that he should tell the owner/ manager what happened because I was too fuming to do so. I didn't even finish my food in disgust. My dad did tell then manager and the manager apologized on behalf of his rude waitress and then offered free bread. Like bribing old folks with bread makes up for being utterly humiliated and disrespected. If I was still in there I wouldn't have taken them bread because you can't buy me or my parents dignity with loafs of bread. The waitress should be fired. The entire restaurant is filled with elderly people. If this waitress can't deal with old people and there disabilities then maybe she should work somewhere else. Better yet maybe you should send you waitress to sensitivity training or make her volunteer with no pay at s nursing home for the day seeing she doesn't know how to treat elderly people and doesn't want to work past her 3pm shift. I will tell everyone I know not to eat here. Mark my words. Everyone will know the discrimination towards the disabled your establishment does. No apology is going to make up for the treatment my mother received. The saddest part is she just looked blank stared at the waitress when she was being yelled at because she didn't even understand what was happening. Absolute...

I love that this buffet is contactless. As someone immune compromised I feel comfortable eating here knowing that my food isn’t exposed to every single person in towns hands, coughs, and sneezes over it. I wish the staff serving the food wore masks though. The staff is good about serving and you can ask for things in smaller tasting portions if you’d like. They don’t charge you if you don’t like something, so be smart about wastefulness.

The fried chicken was amazing, as was the roasted variety. Grandpa enjoyed the made to order strip steak, and my kiddo loved the pancakes and unlimited bacon, my husband ate everything on the line except the pasta, our server was great about keeping drinks refilled and making sure we had everything we needed.

The only cons I would like them to work on that we experienced was the customer service was lacking when grandma ordered the noodles at the hot bar and the staff didn’t offer her a sauce option (they have 3) so she was eating plain noodles not realizing they are supposed to be sauced so staff serving should be aware of those things are offer sauce with noodles, dressings with salads, etc. Their ranch is the worst I ever tried. Most places use hidden valley or the packets and make it themselves. Idk what this was but it was not good. The peppercorn parm is delicious though. Go for that. No masks on serving staff. Staff made a mistake with the pancakes and made the kid an extra serving (so 6 pancakes instead of 2) . It’s against their policy for any takeout to be brought home, but we found it so wasteful they were going to throw them out, even though we did try and eat the extras. Mistakes happen but maybe when it’s made to order and they make that mistake let people bring it home if they’re willing just because times are hard and I hate to see the waste.

However these cons aren’t worthy of knocking off a star because the food is pretty good and the staff is otherwise great and helpful and kind, but I’m including them here in hopes the owners/managers see it and improve in the future.

To the guy saying customers don’t want contactless and other buffets don’t do this, I say go to those places then! People DO still want contactless especially when it means hundreds of random strangers aren’t all...

Right here this is it! You know once in awhile in your lifetime you run into a buffet that hits everything all around. As I said right here, bring your family but if it's after 3:00 in the afternoon don't bother that's when they close.

Parking is ample I mean it's a huge parking lot but it still fills up 3/4 of the way and there's a reason for that, this place has everything you need in a Sunday brunch which is $18 a person plus tax title license and tip.. our servers name is Birdie and her attitude and table-side motor is excellent. I looked around and all of the other servers were pretty much in the same demeanor. There's a difference when you hire people that are over 40 or 50 years old to work this type of job because it's personalized and they know nothing but to give you what you need in a smiley fashion. Why can't every place be like this?

As far as the bakery part, you will have Donuts coming out of your ears, chocolate donuts strawberry donuts, Donuts this Donuts that and the main thing don't forget...... the breakfast buffet. Waffles and omelets made cooked to order eggs over easy , fried, shaken, stirred, scrambled ,mushroom soup, noodle soup, salad bar, 5hit on a shingle.. okay you have to make your own toast but there is a toaster that you make your own. Make sure you are standing by watching because somebody will steal your toast. Fruits, applesauce just everything and anything except for Mimosa', that's across the street.. When I worked at a restaurant 15 years ago waiting on tables at a five star Hotel that had a buffet it was $15 just for all youceat. I can imagine what it would be now? Price here, more than reasonable and In fact I don't know how they make money here, all I know is I wish they had this in houston. This is one of those places you must try and bring your family because nobody will be disappointed. I can't say enough good things about this place....
