Update: I am editing my original review to include my most recent interaction. I had an issue with this location and only a day after airing my issue, I was contacted by corporate. They were very kind and helpful and looked into the promotion I mentioned and showed really great customer service and efficiency so I’m giving Pizza Hut a 5 for overall experience with the company. I will continue to patronize this company!
Original review: This place is kind of ridiculous. I cancelled my order with them just now based on principle. We had a coupon in the mail for Pizza Hut in the yakima area advertising a big dinner box for $24.99. Called to place the order and told them about the coupon and that it didn’t have a coupon code but it was in print. The lady on the phone said they needed a code and couldn’t honor it so she offered to out her manager on the phone. The manager proceeds to tell me the same thing and that they cannot honor it without a code.. they can’t honor their own coupon...from their own company..in the yakima area... I understand that the price difference was negligible, however, on principle I asked them to cancel my order because I don’t like to spend more where they don’t honor their advertised prices. Read moreI was sitting in my car ordering a pickup order and my friend was feeling a little hot and exhausted and asked if she could use the bathroom and her daughter the manager shook his head and rolled his eyes and said no your not a customer she said we're ordering pickup cuz I'm not feeling well he told her nope your not going to use this bathroom she came outside and told me what had happened, so I went inside and I said I'm ordering in my car and my sister needs to use the bathroom with her child is that ok he said oh my God just let me see your phone let me see your phone i don't believe you at all , I said wow guy that insane he then said let me see your phone i want proof where's your proof , then he said yeah that's what I thought, as I walked out , I said I'm not going to show you my phone i don't need to this is the worst we've ever been treated in a restaurant just rude and to think that he's the manager or shift manager teaching all these other workers how to treat people exactly the same way he treated us. Read more06/18/2023 updated review: Ordered $100 worth a pizza and wings for Father's day dinner. Items were sealed when we picked them up. When we got home and opened up the items I was shocked. Pizzas were large hand tosses and large stuff crust. The pizzas we got were more like thin crust. The wings sauce was in the bottom of the container and almost no sauce on the wings. As you can see the pizza looks like a microwave cardboard pizza, taste was not much better. The most disappointing part of this situation is the excuse the person that we talked to on the phone. Never said they were sorry about my bad experience just gave excuses about how they make the pizza to their standards and if we want them to remake it we need to bring it all back to the store. We decided that it was not worth driving 15 miles 1 way to have them remake the food. In hopes it would be better and waste time away from the Father's Day celebration we had going on. This was our main pizza place but now we will be taking out business elsewhere. Very sad there is no customer service in this...
