Single Hill Brewing — Restaurant in Yakima

As a loyal customer to Single Hill since it opened, as our number 1 place to gather, celebrate, and promote to our network, I am sadden that we had a bad experience and no follow up from the manager.

My husband and I got married on August 24th and picked up the keg that was pre-ordered. When getting to our venue that is 40 minutes outside of Yakima with the keg we noticed that the nozzle was jammed and we were unable to serve the Cerveza that we were looking forward to serving to all of our non-local hop lovers. With it already being a stressful day for the bride and the groom there was no time to call the brewery at that moment but first thing we did on Sunday morning was return the keg completely full since we were unable to get any beer from it. The bartender was super friendly and and he inspected the nozzle himself to conclude the nozzle was in fact broken and jammed. He took down my information and we waited for a call from the manager on Monday and Tuesday until we had to call on Wednesday and ask to speak to the manager. The manager said he was busy and would give us a call back. Friday came around and we decided to give him a call back since there was no follow-up. When we spoke to him he let us know that there was nothing that he could do about it. He stated that we should have called on our wedding day and that they could have easily replaced the jammed piece. He was very rude about the situation instead of being understanding. We were 40 minutes away from the brewery and then having to drive back another 40 minutes back to the location was unrealistic on the wedding day. We didn't end up finishing the conversation as he once again needed to go into a meeting and he would call us back to follow up. My husband still has not received a follow-up call.

We love Single Hill but unfortunately their respect towards their loyal customers is not reciprocated.

For future customers that are purchasing a keg from the brewery, make sure that you have them show you that it works before you load it. Kegs can get expensive and you end up losing money, and no beer to...

We had a very enjoyable experience recently using Single Hill Brewery for our daughter & son-in-laws 15th wedding anniversary party! We had a group of nearly 75 total, including children & we had rave reviews from all of our attendee’s. I truly enjoyed working with manager James Stahl through the entire course of pre-party planning as well as his assistant Anthony on the night of our actual event! James was very accommodating as the size of our group grew from 50 or so originally, to nearly 75 at the end. They helped us with reserving tables, up front parking to bring things in and plenty of time for us to set up & tear down our event. No one was rushed & we could enjoy time with our guests. Our guests were well cared for in a timely fashion & everyone enjoyed yummy cold brews & other available drinks on what was indeed a very hot, hot day. To top it off, we also enjoyed using the catering services of the on site taco truck Javi’s which provided hot, plentiful & delicious meals in a coordinated fashion. They accommodated my specific requests & were extremely easy to work with. We highly recommend Single Hill & Javi’s for any size event & would use them again in a heart beat.
