Written 1/27/19. This is a helluva facility. It's designed as a club, with plenty of room (and rooms!) for hundreds of bodies. I visited one year ago, and it was a sad ghost town of a club. Rumors were that it had been the hottest bar in town, but had suffered too many fights and related casualties. I went last night, and it was, again, the hottest place in town, and probably for at least a hundred miles in any direction. Security was at big city club levels, and the DJ collective was also at that level. The music was loud club music and the crowd was dancing. It was a lot of fun. I'm not sure if there's the money in poor Yakima to support this sort of vibe very often. This was heavily promoted on social media by folks who know what they're doing, and hundreds of young people stood in line to pay a ten dollar cover and hear big city DJs. Read moreI asked for a simple drink. Butterscotch and cream over ice. She put 1 shot, maybe half a cup of cream, and a ton of ice in a blender and whipped it into a froth. She then poured less than half of that mix into the smallest glass I have ever been offered and charged me $7 for it. The drink was hardly flavored, I got less than half a shot of actual booze, and she told me that I could buy the second half of the drink she had blended up.
