Overall we had a good experience. Ordered the aged Ribeye & the salmon for our meals. The steak is served on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes & asparagus with a side of gravy. The salmon is served over a bed of Jasmin rice & broccoli greens along with a pesto & sweet wine sauce. For our drinks we had water (which I believe was cucumber infused), a Charlotte's Web, a grapefruit drop, the house red wine, & a pinot gris. The Charlotte's Web is sort of a secret house drink that has tequila in it that starts sweet & ends slightly sour. It was delicious. The grapefruit drop is a lemon drop in grapefruit form. Also good. The red wine "Purrr" was a good pairing with the steak. The Pinot Gris was very delicious. Lots of fruity notes. For dessert i got the vodka strawberry corn bread. I didn't taste any vodka & the cornbread was just plain cornbread. Wouldn't recommend. The raspberry donut cheesecake however was one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. It was so spot on flavor wise. Would absolutely recommend it. There isn't much in the way of appetizers that actually seem like appetizers. Alot of their options are more like small entrees. Self seating. At times it seemed like the staff was just standing around instead of checking on tables. Took a while to receive our check because of this. Otherwise the staff was very kind & polite. Definitely plan on going back. With all the above included the...
Read moreUpdate! - We came here last Saturday (8/16) and had a great experience! The drinks were perfect, as usual! We also had the gorgonzola fries and bruschetta....both were delicious!!! Service was exceptional as well!! Update: We came last Friday evening for dinner (typically we only come for the drinks which are still fabulous, by the way!). I was so disappointed. We had the stuffed zucchini for the appetizer and it was BEYOND salty. As in, someone HAD to have misread the recipe or grabbed the wrong measuring tool. I then ordered the Purrrwaian Flatbread pizza and the sauce was just as over-salted as the zucchini. When the server asked if I wanted a box for the leftovers, I told her how salty they both were and she said the zucchini was salty because of all of the cheese. Well, our family is no stranger to cheese...we LOVE cheese! However, we have NEVER had anything so OVERLY salty due to it being cheesy. Considering both food items were this way, we definitely won't be back for the food. As always, though. The drinks were great! The Old Fashioned was spot on, the Bloody Mary was delicious and the Purrr Berg was purrr perfection. We come for the drinks and we're never disappointed!! Unique...
Read moreWanted to try Purr after getting so many recommendations from locals to eat here. Arrived with a colleague about 90 minutes for closing. I was told they can still serve us so we sat. We waited for 10 minutes before we could put in our drink orders. Another 15 minutes before our food order was taken. I ordered Ahi nachos, and my colleague ordered a steak. By the time our food arrived it was 15 minutes before closing. We were talking so long we didn't realize the amount of time has gone by. When I got my Ahi nachos it was cold, the nachos were burnt and the cheese was so cold that everything was stuch together in one big blob. I asked the waitress if it was supposed to be a cold or warm dish and was told it should be warm. She also agreed the chips were burnt. While another person came over to convince me that it's not burnt and the cheese always cools into a huge glob. I added a photo of the ahi nachos from the website and the chips looks light golden and not dark and hard like I received them. The whole ordeal was a big turn off and don't think I want to give them a second try......
