Shakes- delicious! Customer service skills- shoddy!

My boyfriend ordered a shake. It was clear as day. They didn't add it to the tab and then when we asked where it was they just acted like we were stupid. I don't particularly enjoy feeling gaslit at places, but we ordered the other shake.

Correct customer service response should have been: "Oh, I'm sorry for mishearing. It didn't get put on the tab, see? So unfortunately you'll have to pay."

Instead, there was zero apology. I get these things happen but it was her attitude over it that left a sour taste in my mouth.

Needless to say, because we had to wait around extra for everything, the company lost the money I'd have thrown at them for 3 people to play a round of mini golf. Also kinda sucked we didn't get to eat together as a family because she had to make up the other drink due to a compassionateless lack of auditory skills.

Every action has causes and effects. And last night's actions lost this business revenue AND earned them this lackluster review.

I also witnessed them turning parties away for mini golf at 9:15 when it says they close at 10. Imo they either need to change the mini golf hours so they can stop irritating people, or you need to change your employee roster. I get that nobody wants to wait around at your job until late- I've worked retail. I've worked at a gas station where I was 2 hours over store close because nobody would get off the gas pumps!

But if a place is open until a certain time, us tourists are going to assume that we can arrive there and do things until the closing hours, not get turned away to strictly make the employees lives easier.

The owners nephew over charged my debit card until it ran out of money. A party of 4 shouldn’t cost over $200. Called the owner and told him I was dissatisfied with everything and he said it’s an issue with your bank, not us. After I told him I would leave a poor review he said his lawyers would be the judge of that. Huh? Must be nice to not gaf about your customers. THERE ARE SO MANY MORE MINI GOLF PLACES OUT THERE, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. As I told the owner, I’d tell everyone I meet down the cape about this and to this day I still am. Too bad 0/5 stars...

My wife and I have a tradition of searching for mini golf places on the Cape and happened to find this hidden gem while out for a joy ride. The course is clean, grounds well kept and the holes are challenging enough to keep self-declared semi-pros like ourselves engaged. You also cant beat the free replay.
