This hotel should be at the top of your list if you decide to visit Cape Cod! First off when we arrived it was before check in time. Phil was very polite and professional. He captured my cell phone number and said when the room was ready he would call. Later when the room was ready Phil ensured a very smooth check in and was very friendly. Later that evening I met Paul. He said he was maintenance for the property. Paul took time out of his very busy schedule to provide me with a tour of the hotel. I don't believe I have ever been given a tour of any hotel since joining Hilton Honors. This was very impressive and greatly appreciated. Paul took the time to answer my questions as we walked throughout the hotel. Later that night I had some questions so I went back to the front desk. Phil and Mario did a great job answering all of my questions. As I was walking back to my room Mario quickly stopped me since I had left my water bottle at the desk. I really appreciated Mario taking the time to follow up and return the bottle to me. The following morning I had some questions about checking out and spoke with Athena. She was very helpful and answered all of the questions I had. Later that morning I was able to meet the General Manager. Her name is Elissa DiBlasi. She seriously made me feel like family. She took the time to listen to the feedback I had about the hotel. I really appreciated how patient she was. During our conversation I didn't feel rushed and could tell she was listening. This hotel is absolutely amazing! Indoor and outdoor pool. Inside they have a hot tub. Plus they also have a game room. I appreciated the sign they have that lists everything for guests when you first walk in. I am a Diamond Member. This is my 10th year as a Diamond. In all of my travels throughout the country this is absolutely my favorite Hampton Inn! Great breakfast and plenty of room to relax. During the time at the pool they ensured that pool towels were stocked up the entire time. Every member of the hotel was very professional and helpful. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. I would highly encourage anyone looking for a place to stay in Cape Cod to consider staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Cape Cod-West Yarmouth. Five Star Customer service from the minute I checked in until the minute I checked out. Thank you everyone at this hotel for a...
Read moreI will say I have never given a trip advisor review or ever went back to the hotel to complain but we didn't have much of a choice. I have given the manager at this hotel 3 times to respond via email and received nothing so here we go.... We checked in late, 2 adjoining rooms which originally weren't available but they ended up accommodating, which was GREAT and much appreciated. OF course, my mother in law, daughter and niece opened up there comforters to find crumbled cheez -its (or something) similar. I called down and asked if we can make the bed with new sheets, she said of course and pleas know that points will get added to your account for this as it is so wrong that it wasn't cleaned. So we took the old off and got new, great, we move on! We were here for 4 days and in this 4 days the same room was not cleaned, beds made, etc. They do every other day which is perfectly fine BUT at least do it. Our joining room door was open so not quite sure how they missed it. So next time I went down, I said something about the cleaning to see if they could do it that day - garbage was overflowing etc. They said of course and apologized. Come back, still no cleaning and yet again... the front desk person assured me the manager will reach out to me so he gave me her card and information to email her. More than anything I wanted to manager to know what was happening. My mother-in-law pretty much eats only oatmeal everyday so by 8 am the oatmeal was gone so she was setting her alarm for 6:30 am and going to sit by herself and eat oatmeal before it ran out because there is only 1 cook in the back they couldn't replenish, once it's gone, it's gone! You can always wait on line for a waffle, but she doesn't eat that. Other than the one room mishap - which is HUGE to me, cleanliness is KEY to where we choose to stay and missing Oatmeal for breakfast unless you are super early the place is great and staff were wonderful. I am going to DING the Manager just because I tried to reach out 3 times via email in hopes for a response and didn't get it so that is really dissapointing. I wouldn't say NOT to stay here but I will say check the sheets really good and check under the furniture there was also a dirty plastic cup and empty snack bag (No, not...
Read moreWanted to do laundry, front desk did not have quarters available so the next day when I was back to do laundry, they informed me that the laundry room closes at 9pm with a grace period to 12pm. Did not know that previously. I have never been to any hotel that has time restrictions on laundry. I can understand that it may be loud for other guests but they should consider that when making the laundry room location to not disturb nearby guests. Additionally, the fitness room had been "closed" for the couple days we wanted to use it. When asked when it would be open again, they said they would let me know but so far, did not get a response. Asked to speak to night manager, Crystal and she was very rude and impatient. Would not recommend staying at this property for the amount of cost per night and for being Hilton Honors member and Hilton Vacation Club Owner, this was the worse customer experience. Also forgot to mention that workers who were either housekeeping or maintenance that were vacuuming the floors in the hallways were arguing about their work responsibilities, complaining about the manager and arguing with each other about their shifts and duties while in the hallways and elevators with guests. Needed to add that housekeeping came today, when I went to take a shower, I noticed black scuff marks in the tub - like someone went into the tub with filthy feet or their shoes!. I had to "clean" the tub myself before taking a shower and the tissue box was not replaced although it was empty. The shower curtain makes the entire bathroom smell "sour" as if the shower curtain has not been cleaned at all! This is the poorest Hilton property I've ever stayed in and for the high cost of the rooms, it is NOT worth it!!! On a positive note, I want to acknowledge Lichardo, at the front desk who was always pleasant, helpful...
