Uncommoner Hotel by Reverie Boutique Collection — Hotel in Yarmouth

I was on a mad search for my birthday weekend hotel, so when I found this hotel I was super excited based off the pictures, it did not disappoint, everything looks exactly like the pictures, they did a phenomenal job overhauling this place from what it previously was. The decor is amazing, and the reason it’s so perfect is because it strays from the coastal charm aesthetic that 98% of the other hotels in the area are clinging to and introduces something different. Anyways aside from all that, some notes for future travelers (I’m sure it will change but for now) -Its still under its previous name “tidewater inn” on all the GPS we used so don’t get confused and scared like we did, it is the “uncommoner” it’s just so new it hasn’t even updated on the maps yet. -Water pressure, great, but it takes a while for the water to heat up, when it finally does though your good so no biggie.

Some highs I hope will not change -It’s also close to literally everything so big ups there -They have these great super cute bikes for free rental if your staying with them -The fire pits are so very peaceful as well, we fell asleep in the chairs and were only awakened by a small plane overhead Even though it’s off a main road, the rooms are well insulated and quiet (we stayed in the main building directly in front of the street so I’m sure if this)

Our stay was warm, welcoming and stylish from check-in to check-out! Traveling with a 4 and 6 year old can be challenging, but the newly updated design of this hotel made it virtually effortless. Spacious rooms, ample storage, lots of hooks and best of all, a refrigerator in room made it easy to stay organized, hydrated and well fed. Have two pool options kept the trip interesting and the large lawn area overlooking the inlet was a great escape for the kids to run and play while us parents could relax by the water.

The outdoor pool area with cabanas is gorgeous—renovated and sharp, it has the feel of a high-end getaway. There’s also a cozy indoor pool with ultra-comfortable loungers, perfect for relaxing on cooler days.

Location is unbeatable: just steps from Main Street in Hyannis and close to great restaurants, shops, and all the Cape Cod activities.
