McDonald's — Restaurant in Youngstown

I went through the drive-thru and ordered a 10 piece nugget with hot mustard, a large coke zero and a large ice water. The women in the drive-thru are always extremely friendly. They gave me my drinks and had me pull forward. There were already 4 cars waiting ahead of me and not much room for me to pull clear of the window. Luckily 2 of the cars received their food and moved quickly. I waited for a little longer than usual but to me it wasn't a big deal. The poor guy in front of me waited much longer. When I got my food, I drove away without checking the bag. That was my mistake. When I was able to eat my nuggets they were divided into a 4 piece and 6 piece box. No biggie, they're all going to the same place. I reached into the bag and grabbed a hot mustard and opened it, and started eating the 4 piece. I ate the 2 on top and when I picked up the third nugget, there underneath was a short black hair. 🤮 Ugh. I closed the box and pulled out the 6 piece and inspected it closely. They appeared okay so I grabbed the 2nd sauce. Remember, I asked for HOT mustard. They gave me HONEY mustard. I'm allergic to honey. 🙁

Of course, I didn't ask for my receipt so I didn't bother taking anything back. I only paid $2 with a coupon and my appetite was gone anyway. It's just frustrating.

I've had issues at this location before but I've never written a review. They were minor anyway, a wrong drink that I caught before driving away, no CO2 in the pop, and a drive-thru that was ridiculously slow because everyone was working that night was stoned out of their minds.

I go to this location because they are convenient but it's not really worth it. I'll start driving further for my fountain...

was very disrespectful,  I was receiving my order of a straw berry milkshake and ice cream.

Everything was going well until she handed me a sundae wich was overflowing with the ice cream, strawberry topping and was not completely sealed, that needlessly ended up every where on the interior of my car, and myself.

I had to pull over and exit the car so i can go inside your establishment to clean up from the mess that was presented to me and so as I was exiting you restaurant I stop to let the young lady who had handed me this mess what happen to me. She told me to my face that isn't the way she handed it to me and that she didn't care about the situation turn around and walked away like screw you guy move on.

I was quite livid to say at the least.

I'm not sure if she was having a bad day and just lashed out, but it's not acceptable to speak to one of your customers in such a manner.

I am sorry to inform you that the experience was not a pleasant one, but being disrespected is an horse of a different color. You won't have to worry about me or my family ever patronizing you establishment again.

You might want to discuss customers relations with your employees.

I used to work at this McDonald's way back in December of 1987 when it was first built until 1999. While I was there, ownership changed several times, as did the people who worked there and the equipment and procedures for operating the restaurant. I made some nice friends and have a lot of fun and fond memories. A lot has changed in the building itself and no doubt the people who work there. For instance, that road sign way up on that pedestal in the front RIGHT corner of the lot used to be on that little brick structure on the front LEFT corner of the lot at eye level. AND... It is just entirely possible, that the people I used to work with, high school students mostly, now have children of their own who are of the age where they just might be beginning their journeys through a career of their own with this same McDonald's as their launching pad. I hope to visit this place again soon, just to see what changes have taken place INSIDE the building. I can't really comment on the food or service simply because I haven't been back to this place for several years ( the last time I was in Ohio ), but I'm giving it 5 stars just because it seems like the best way to honor everyone that has ever worked there in the almost 29 years it has been in operation. 29 YEARS? GOOD LORD! Just...
