I would not recommend this Dairy Queen location to anyone. The franchise owner is extremely greedy. This place nickel-and-dimes you for everything. Want one extra pump of flavor? That’ll be $1.25. It’s unbelievable how greedy they are. Take a close look at their menu board for all the extra charges they impose if you ask for anything additional or special.

The worst part is that the employees working tonight didn’t even make the drink correctly! I don’t know who the ignorant franchise owner is running this location now, but I think DQ corporate needs to get involved. If you really want a DQ treat, go to the Washtenaw Avenue location. They may get your order wrong, but at least they won’t rip you off like this location does.

By the way, your employees are lucky they didn’t have to clean that milkshake off your window tonight. At the very least, your employees should be taught that if they’re going to charge outrageous amounts for an extra pump of flavor, they need to inform the customer. The lack of communication is unbelievable.

One last point to the franchisee: if you had taught your employees correctly from the beginning, I wouldn’t be sitting here upset and leaving you a bad review. Think proactively; do...

Really disappointed today. I just went by the store here in Ypsi on Michigan Ave and they closed down early because of the rain. Now I could see if there was a flood, tornadoe or some other cataclysmic event that would require them to shut down and lock up shop at 5:30 p.m. due to the massive amount of melted ice cream flooding the streets of Ypsilanti but it was only the slight inconvenience of a minor rainstorm. It wasn't the end of the world and the countergirls ain't so sweet that the rain will melt them so short of it being the end of civilization there was no justifiable reason to shut down. This Place. This Dairy Queen Has Been At This Site Since Before I Was Born And I Have Had So Many Blizzards And Ice Cream At This Awesome Place. It's Close For Me Which I Really Like.
