Absolutley LOVED this place! A friend and I were meeting for lunch and to catch up with each other - we got there at 10am and told the owner/wait person that we might be there several hours. She was delightful and said we were welcome to stay all day if we wanted but they do close at 5pm and we would need to leave then. 😄 We ordered lunch, then stayed and talked over tea until 2pm! The place filled up around noon so we moved to a tiny table so they could have our 4 top for more people. The owner and the extra wait person were both wonderful throughout our visit. I had the Asian salad with tofu and iced tea. My friend is vegetarian and had the spinach quiche with a very large berry scone. My salad was delicious. The greens were fresh, and the toppings were plentiful. The dressing came on the side and was perfect with a slight sesame flavor. My friend said the quiche was perfect and the scone delicious. The atmosphere is perfect - a natural food setting, lots of plants everywhere along with fun and pretty goods and shatzis for sale everywhere, all with a light hippie vibe. When heading to the loo I realized that the restaurant had an herbal type shop also that I wish I'd had more time to investigate. If I lived in or near Yreka I would spend a lot of time at Nature's Kitchen! Sadly I forgot to take food pics but did take a couple scenic pics behind the little "mall" - hoping the little town can fill those shops some day!

I love this place! What a beautiful and magical place to eat and shop! We found this place by a happy accident driving through Cali. The staff are so friendly and joyful! The decorations, the art, the food and the entire ambience of the place is amazing! I enjoyed the avocado and grilled cheese sandwich with tomatoe bisque soup, my hubby had the spinach and bacon quiche with clam chowder, delicious! And for dessert, a divine lemon bar! Everything was homemade and fresh, even down to the gorgeous flowers on the tables. Whenever we drive to Cali we will stop here every time! What a beautiful experience in every way! I even got a glittering sarong from India!

We stopped by here on our way back from Oregon just looking for somewhere quick and easy to eat, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere immediately caught our eye, it has such sweet decor. We ordered the avocado toast with chicken and some orange juice and the portioning size is perfect, not to mention how amazingly fresh all of the ingredients taste, especially for the prices! The service was wonderful as well! Overall an amazing experience, especially since if you're just looking for something quick, easy, and yummy!

Being from out of state we thought let's try this fun looking restaurant. When we arrived we were told to pick a seat just the two of us. We were greeted with water then menus. A large group of at least 10 came in shortly after us and the gal I'm thinking maybe an owner seated them and brought them silverware (we didn't have any). The kicker here is we are thinking yay we will get to order before this large group because we were there before them and I was excited to order the special to which I heard her tell a guy in that group that there were only two left of one thing and just one of another and the guy said, "Oh, I'll take one of the first ones" and she said, "Ok, then there's only one more left" NOT even considering we were waiting to order and that was something I wanted to order. We waited thinking she'd be over to take our order but instead she started to take their orders so we stood up and then told her how bad that was that we were there first just two of us and she proceeds to take their orders before ours. Not even asking us if we'd like coffee or drinks to start. We left and will NEVER return. Also I didn't realize it and glad we left because my husband said he was pretty grossed out by the jaw bones and something else he thinks hanging on the wall in front of him and he would have had a difficult time eating. VERY BAD SERVICE, SO RUDE!!! Never has this happened to us and we travel the United States and like eating at unique healthy places which is what we thought of this one. Couldn't rate the food but if I could give NO stars I would...

I used to come here when I had doctor appointments. I have a psychiatric service animal, and showed all the necessary things to have my PSA with me . The wife told me I can sit inside with a nice eye roll, and seemed uncomfortable, so I offered to sit outside Went outside there was no chairs, and a Gardner blowing leaves and dirt everywhere . So I moved inside. Then was refused service from her husband for no apparent reason and called me a “nervous person “ after the wife said I can sit inside OR outside . Then when I went to acknowledge her and clear up the miscommunication she refused to look at me and walked away. The VERY elderly husband/owner looked at me, pointed in my face and said “I HAVE the FINAL SAY”

Then proceeded to tell me they call the cops to come when I was trying to explain the situation in a very calm manner . No one should ever be treated like this, especially someone with a service animal.

I loved supporting small businesses, I’ve been here a handful of times. (Also been a server for 15years)Their quiche is $15 for a SLICE , however still knowing that.. I come to support small business and the elderly but after today I’ll never come back nor recommend to anyone . Very rude . And...
