Mrs. Flip Out hadn’t ever tried this local take out so we decided to try it. I went with the boneless wings and per their recommendation tried them with the garlic Parmesan sauce and honey mustard sauce. The garlic Parmesan sauce was terrific. I also enjoyed the honey mustard and overall, the wings were fantastic! Also upon the owner’s recommendation, I got the okra, and it was really delicious. The baked beans looked like the “usual” but the additions of chopped pork and ground beef completely changed the dynamic of this side. I really liked how it tasted. Since I saw hush puppies on the menu, I ordered some so I wouldn’t be stealing the ones on my wife’s meal. It was a good decision: these hush puppies were truly delicious. Mrs. Flip Out had the fish and shrimp combo with onion rings. She liked the flavor of the fish; it was the best she had had. She also liked the cocktail and tartar sauces, which normally she doesn’t care for. In spite of everything being fried, nothing was greasy. If you happen to be in Yukon and want wings or Louisiana influenced food, this place is for you. Delicious food and...
Read moreI am from the MS gulf coast about 45 miles from New Orleans. I was so excited to see a place that served po-boys. My husband and I got a shrimp po-boy, fish and shrimp platter, hush puppies, okra, baked beans and two cocktail sauce. The hush puppies, beans and okra were delicious, although it had to be heated up, however, the shrimp, was not shrimp. It was in the shape of a stick in the platter and in a round disk on the po-boy, which only had four, and the cocktail sauce was just ketchup. I understand you can not get fresh gulf shrimp in Oklahoma and was not expecting that. But nowhere in the world is there stick shaped shrimp. Clearly, it had to be shrimp pieces processed and pressed together. It was a huge disappointment, the food was cold, and I will never eat...
Read moreBased off of my first experience it was ok. I ordered a 10 piece boneless wing with fries. I felt the price was a little steep honestly, and they did not even give me the ranch I requested for my wings. That's almost a cardinal sin in my book but I dealt with it. Wings themselves were ok though a little light on the sauce in my opinion, good sized though so the portion was on point. The fries are like skinny wedges. They were pretty solid and I enjoyed the change of pace from the same fries you get from everywhere else. Luckily I had ketchup at home because they did not include any in my bag or ask if i wanted any. Overall for the price you pay - average. If I go back I'll try something else, maybe I'll have a better experience...
