Have been to this location several times before with no issues. Food and service has always been good. Today, the service was terrible. I ordered through the app and the app instructs you to pick up your food from inside. If the lobby is closed, then you can go through the drive thru. It was sprinkling and there were only a few cars in the parking lot and drive thru. I pulled through the drive thru to see if I can get my order that way (since it was sprinkling) ... nope. Have to go inside. No problem.
I go inside, there was one other person in the lobby waiting for their order. A girl at the cash register said nothing to me but just went about drinking HER MILKSHAKE at the REGISTER and then walked away to start her break, I assume. Then, I'm standing next to the designated pick up area, and another lady is wiping down the soda fountain area and complaining and cursing under her breath (but loud enough to be easily heard) while cleaning up. App said my order would be ready at a certain time. We've exceeded that time by several minutes at this point. I see a gentleman getting my order together. Everything is packed up and ready, I'm almost out of here! Nope again. A person comes in to order and he turns around, takes the order while my entire order is behind him, stapled up and drinks waiting. ::sigh::. So he takes her order, turns around and then puts my order on the stand. Again, not one word from an employee the entire time I was there unless you count the cursing behind me. I don't expect anything crazy, I know I'm going to a fast food establishment. And I'm extremely understanding. Today, it was just bad and I hope it was a perfect storm of just bad experiences on this particular trip and not the new regular.
I would like to suggest an option on the app to be able to pick up through the drive thru or a parking spot. I order through the app for particular reasons (anxiety and a physical disability included). I do this to avoid going in. Defeated the whole...

With chicken tenders instead of a chicken breast. When I brought this to their attention, they tried to act like it wasn't a big deal. If there's a wait for fresh food, generally you're treated like a human instead of being ignored, they ask you how you are and talk to you while you're waiting for your meal, they check your order and ask you right before they hand you your bag which sauces you needed to verify you got the right ones and you know your meal is piping hot and you have what you need when you pull away.
