Super friendly service from the lovely owners. The atmosphere is very basic. They have good deep dish pizza by Vietnam standards, but if you are from Chicago don't hold your breath. Just like the wine in Vietnam -- it will work if you haven't had it in a while, but don't expect California or South Australia. It's also strange that pizza toppings here cost VND 22k (almost USD $1) whether it is simple basil or a much more expensive meat. I wanted to add garlic and basil, but not for USD $2! They really should differentially price vegetable vs. meat toppings. Loses a star because they don't accept credit cards (even in the year 2024, after being in business for over 2 years, and located in a popular tourist area!) and there is no indoor seating under aircon. They do have a sink with soap to wash hands, and there is a very basic washroom in the back if you need a toilet, but it has no working bidet, unfortunately. I do want to come back and try their Philly cheesesteak and their chicken alfredo pasta, but I will at least have to wait until they first accept credit cards. It's not worth burning through my limited cash on hand for food when everybody else in town accepts card. You can, however, order via Grab delivery to pay by card and eat under aircon in your own accomodation, so perhaps I will do that next time. The owners are the best part about this place! They are so nice, welcoming and friendly! This place has a lot of potential if they could just get up to speed with all the other restaurants in town regarding payments and aircon. As an alternative, nearby Motor City Pizza has good pizza and accepts credit cards...

…Honest Hank loves a family-owned spot, and Gilda's has that local hustle vibe going for it. But if we're talking pizza quality, it’s about as close to “great” as you’ll get in Da Nang—which, unfortunately, isn’t saying much. They offer three types: New York, Sicilian, and Chicago deep dish. Now, that Sicilian? Let’s just say it could quietly disappear from the menu, and no one would be worse off. The New York and Chicago styles hold their own, though.
On Hank’s international pizza scale? A solid 7.1. But if Dave Portnoy walked in, well… let’s just say his score might drop even lower.
Now, let’s address this sauce situation. The owner's got opinions about folks like me putting Cholimex chili sauce on his pizza. Look, I get it; it’s not ideal. But if you don’t want us reaching for it, how about giving us a better heat option? Chili flakes, chili oil—anything but the sad...
Read moremy FAV pizza in DaNang. I love this place and would eat there everyday if I didn’t limit my pizza intake.
you get the amazing vietnamese home style service. the owners are both extremely friendly, speak great english and make sure to get your order right! You can tell they put love and hard work into your order all while making sure the vibes of their restaurant are good.
the taste of the pizza is exactly what I miss about American pizza!! whether it’s NYC, Detroit or Chicago style all of it is amazing. It’s much better quality than a lot of the pizza places in the U.S. and whenever I leave vietnam this will be one of the places I dream about.
I don’t understand how anyone could give a negative review and I love this place so much. highly recommend to any local vietnamese who want a good pizza or to any expats who need...
