Over all good experience. The owner asked if he could ask a few questions. I said yes. Unfortunately, even though he knew some English, he had no idea what I said so he wasted my time. I quoted Elon Musk and the owner actually said that meant I wanted to sleep with him. His assumption of what I said had absolutely nothing to do with what I said. As I have degrees in English and communications, seven IT engineering certifications, and radio and TV licenses among other subjects, I was clear. I have never asked anyone out and the men who have asked me out have been some of the wealthiest, smartest, powerful and popular worldwide. By the time I was a 16 year old freshman in college, I was writing professionally. I went on to work not only in radio and TV for the number 1 network in the US but I also worked on more than 30 motion pictures. After I left that career, I lead teams of up to 35 engineers in designing some of the largest buildings in the US as well as designing the largest IT solutions. The person who said he was the restaurateur seemed to be in an entirely different league. There was also an encounter at the My An pool. I used to go to the cafe at 7 am because no one was there and I would have a coffee uninterrupted. I stopped going to H Coffee when I could not walk into the...
Read moreI really love this cafe. Nestled in the cozy beachside neighborhood of Da Nang, this place is really quiet, unassuming, and just plain charming. Unlike other cafes in Da Nang, this one is not noisy, always has seats, and has incredibly fresh coffee (with NO sugar). It's also one of the few shops that understands the phrase "I want Arabica!" And can actually deliver it! The owner's family lives in a region of Da Nang where they grow their own beans and they even have their own manufacturing machines behind the cafe itself. The coffee is incredibly fresh, so fresh that you don't even need to eat anything.
Staff speak English and cater to foreigner as well as local clientele. It's just a GREAT place to get work done. I've spent hours at this cafe and time goes by so quickly here. Really really recommend this place for foreigners (tourists, expats, digital nomads). A...
Read moreGreat looking little coffee place to relax and enjoy an affordable cup of coffee. They offer a wide variety of brewing styles (rarely seen in Vietnam) such as French press and Aero press. They even have non-dairy options! Yay! Clean, quiet, and they serve a few classic Vietnamese dishes. Customer service very friendly. Note: has air conditioning but the doors don't automatically close, so don't rely on it. BTW, the coconut coffee is delicious! Coming back to try the blueberry smoothy and food (Bo kho). UPDATE: Bo kho was yummy, eggs cooked perfectly for creamy yolk. Both were excellent to dip your banh mi (bread) in. My wife is very picky about it and she enjoyed it. Portions are small (but price reflects it) so this is a good place to stop by if you want a variety of food later. Smoothies and peach tea contain real fruit! Light and not overly sweet with fake...
