I am so happy to leave a second review for my favorite place in Da Nang, “Hideout.” My first review was written after just a week in Da Nang, when this was one of the first places I visited—and it truly impressed me. There were some minor service issues at the time, but they didn’t spoil the overall experience. I returned, and I’m so glad I did because I kept coming back many, many times. This place has been my little haven, bringing me joy every time.
I loved discovering new dishes here, and I always felt safe trying something new because I knew they wouldn’t disappoint me. That’s not always the case in other restaurants, where some dishes can be great while others are not as good. But here, everything—from the food to the service—is consistently top-notch.
A special thank you to the chef for maintaining such high standards! It’s amazing to come back and always have a great experience.
As for the dishes, I’ve tried many—from vegan options to shrimp dishes and salads—and I highly, highly recommend this place. I’m also happy that there are two locations in Da Nang, and I hope they expand even more, maybe even in Hoi An! When a restaurant can maintain its quality and train its staff well, it deserves to grow.
The atmosphere is also lovely, with a consistent style across locations. The only downside is that a couple of times, I arrived and couldn’t find a table because the place was packed. But that just proves how popular it is! So, please open more locations in Da Nang and Hoi An.
Once again, thank you for the wonderful experience. I’m leaving Da Nang soon, but one of the reasons I will definitely return next year is this cafe and the amazing experiences I’ve had here.
A special mention goes to their matcha latte with oat milk—it’s one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. As a huge matcha lover, I know exactly how high-quality matcha should taste. Here, you can feel the perfect balance of flavors and top-tier...

I'm not here to judge or criticize luck or cultural practice, but burning incense in a small shop like this is not healthy. It's just circulating smoke in the place. People inside the shop are coughing. The two air conditioners and fans are not going bring the fresh air from outside in.
Grab drivers. I noticed one grab driver sitting outside for a while only to see another one come in later to get their order and drive off before the first. The second came in and asked where the order was and he was soon to drive off to make his delivery.
I don't like to leave bad reviews, but when it comes to health and consideration for customers, certain things need to raised to attention.
UPDATE: I've come back several times to see improvements on managing environment and service. I don't like leaving poor reviews on places that are putting the effort into training a...
Read moreI've tried several cafes in Danang, and this one is by far my favorite. The staff are all lovely, very helpful, and responsive, but most importantly, very friendly. I love their hospitality; they have what I call a genuine and spontaneous smile.
As for the coffee, it's very good, and I also find them very generous with the quantity. I'm quite picky about this matter; I hate cafes where they load up on ice to save on the drink, or where I feel like they just want to make money off us by practically selling us only ice. That's not the case here, which is what makes me want to come back.
I've decided to work here regularly with my laptop because there's great natural light and good internet speed (around 250mbps), and outlets everywhere. In terms of clientele, there's a bit of everything: regulars during the week, weekenders, passersby, tourists, and locals. It fills up quickly early in the morning, but you can always find a table...
