The Classic Pub - NGUYET VONG LAU — Restaurant in Da Lat City

Me and my partner were searching for a bar and stumbled upon this place. There doesn’t seem to be much of a drinking scene in Dalat, but this place was lovely. It wasn’t very busy but we met some lovely fellow travellers and returned the next night with some friends. The beer is cheap and they have a good range. We didn’t get a cocktail but saw the staff make one for someone else and he put on quite a show, very impressive. Our friend had some food and said it was great. We came here just by luck. We were looking for a good cocktail bar. We initially went to a nearby bar facing this one in which we waited for a long time just to be told the drink we wanted was not available, staff were not that very friendly either. On the contrary the atmosphere in the classic pub was great, the music was definitely up our street and Tyler made us some fabulous cocktails some of which he created by asking our preferences in alcohol or flavours. They didn’t just taste like syrup either. He was extremely passionate about his job and told us a story about each drink he created....

Was on the hunt for an open cocktail bar ( at lunchtime, My Bad!!) and stumbled across this gem of a coffee shop /Cocktail bar, offering wonderful coffee, with a very limited snack menu, but was able to rustle up the most delightful and moorish springrolls . The decor was bright and cheerful, as were the staff, and a well presented establishment could do no wrong. Ill come back another time for cocktails. Highly...
