Góc Hà Thành DALA Vietnam We followed the Lonely Planet guide book which recommended this restaurant After having a poor meal we made a comment to the waitress that food needed more seasoning which obviously surprised her and then the Owner came over . He addressed the whole restaurant and shouted that no body makes a complaint , only this man and shook his finger fiercely at me with anger on his face. We have never witnessed such rudeness and really think he should be removed from your recommendation. I would like to describe my experience with food in restaurant. I ordered spring rolls - I believe they were fried in old oil ,rice sheet over cooked, in side of rolls wasn’t tasty I have raised the issue And morning glory with garlic fried :too salty 1: main course which was coconut curry with prawns : no Flavour missing salt 4 prawns in the Curry 2-steamed prawns with coconut . This was just 8 prawns with a hot coconut drink, not a proper meal, needed more description. No rice or vegetables.

📍 Location: Situated in a charming street in Da Lat, Goc Ha Thanh is surrounded by cute stores, making the location not just convenient but also pleasant for a leisurely walk, adding to the dining experience. I got a huge hair clip on the way here.

🍜 Dumpling Soup: A remarkable 10/10. Overflowing with delicious dumplings and accompanied by fresh sprouts, the soup presents a perfect harmony of flavors, setting a high standard for what dumpling soup should be.

🥥 Coconut Chicken Curry: Among the finest curries, rich in taste with succulent chicken, well-cooked potatoes, and carrots. It's a flavor explosion in every bite.

*Remember, rice is ordered separately but highly recommended to complement this lavish dish.

🌯 Fried Spring Rolls: These are the best fried sprig rolls I’ve ever had; they're incredible. The crispy exterior and flavorful interior make each bite a delight, and the filling is so unique.

Price point for 2 people sharing 3 full dishes, two bowls of rice and bottle of water was about $15 (!!!!!!!!) for some of the best food...

Goc Ha Thanh is a wonderful little gem offering traditional Vietnamese dishes packed with flavour. We dined here on our last evening after five memorable days in Da Lat, and it was the perfect way to end our stay. Every dish was vibrant and beautifully presented—from the fragrant wonton soup to the rich, aromatic curries served in clay pots. You could really taste the fresh herbs and spices in every bite.

The drinks were refreshing too, especially the minty soda with fresh herbs, which paired perfectly with the warmth of the food. The interior has a cozy, rustic charm with wooden furnishings, local artwork, and lanterns that give it a very homely, authentic feel. It was great to see both locals and visitors dining together, which says a lot.

I only wish we had found this place sooner, I would have gladly come back for more meals. The staff were friendly and service was quick even though the place was buzzing. If you’re in Da Lat and craving authentic, home-style Vietnamese food in a welcoming setting, definitely give Goc Ha Thanh a try. It’s easy to see why it’s recommended by so many travelers!
