Visited Yatts in Hanoi for what I anticipated to be a high-standard dining experience. At first glance, the service was quite satisfactory. The staff were attentive and made sure our visit was as comfortable as possible. Furthermore, the presentation of the food was nothing short of impressive. Each dish was a visual masterpiece, hinting at the meticulous effort put into its appearance. It’s clear that Yatts values the aesthetic appeal of their cuisine, which does add a special touch to the dining experience.
However, while the dishes were visually appealing, the flavors did not meet the same high standard. The taste of the food, unfortunately, fell below expectations. Considering the ambiance and the quality of service, I was hoping for culinary delights that matched the visual excellence, but the dishes lacked the depth and balance of flavors one would anticipate from a place of this caliber.
Given the discrepancy between the visual presentation and the taste, I am inclined to explore other dining options in Hanoi for future outings. While Yatts might impress at first glance with its service and food presentation, the core aspect of dining - the taste - leaves room for improvement. For those seeking a feast for the eyes and less emphasis on culinary innovation or traditional flavors, Yatts could be a pleasant choice. However, for a truly memorable gastronomic journey, I will likely seek...
Read moreA friend introduced this Thai restaurant to us. Before reserving a table, i read some previous reviews here commenting that this place being not good enough to be considered as fine dining so i was skeptical to book, but my friend was adamant for us to try as she knows my wife loves Thai food. We needed to book 2 days in advance and managed to get the later lunch slot. When we arrived, the security provided valet service for our car. Located in a villa, it is well designed and does exude luxurious vibes. Looking at the menu, the dishes looks well presented fine dining style, but the price was definitely not. It was just slightly higher than casual dining but definitely much lower than fine dining. There was no expensive fine dining ingredients like wagyu or foie gras but i was not expecting it from the menu price. Quality and taste was good! The tom yum soup was the best i tasted in Vietnam. My favourite was the Otak (Hor Mok Mae) and the crab omelette fried rice. Presentation was fancy like fine dining. Service was friendly and attentive. It is now my wife’s new favourite Thai place in Hanoi. I think this is a splendid place for good quality and taste close to fine dining but at more wallet friendly prices. Toilet is...
Read moreDining at YATTS was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we were seated, everything felt thoughtfully curated — from the ambiance to the artistic presentation of each dish. One standout was the prawn coconut soup, served in a real coconut shell with dramatic dry ice fog that made the whole table go “wow!” 🌫️🦐
Every dish was beautifully plated and packed with flavor. The sushi tartlets were fresh and delicate, and the fried appetizers were crisp and golden without being greasy. It’s clear that the chefs here not only care about taste but also presentation — every plate looked like a piece of art.
If you’re looking for a place that combines fine dining with creativity and flair, YATTS is a must-visit. Will definitely be coming back with...
