The restaurant looks clean and bright, but not very warm, the fact that it is actually cold inside (most Vietnamese were wearing coats and shawls) does not help and somewhat makes it feel like a fridge.
We ordered 3 dishes. One dish (vegetables) was served way before the rest, got cold, and wasn't very enjoyable as a single dish (it would have been with the other dishes). When the "wagyu" (doubt it was wagyu) luc lac was served, half the dish consisted of uncut cloves of garlic (quite the waste of garlic when stir frying something). The meat was 50% fat and cartilage, I'm actually having trouble getting the pieces from between my teeth. Again, looking at the rating this restaurant has, it made me feel like they saved the bad pieces of meat for Tây people. The last dish was a 30k vnd white rice that was actually just a serving for one person.
Honestly, I'm surprised at the reviews this restaurant is getting. We did not see a discount for good reviews either, which made me wonder even more.
The menu did come with a complementary sugared yoghurt and watermelon dessert (as well as a Vietnamese dish that I couldn't quite make out).
All in all the worst price-quality-quantity ratio in Vietnam so far (4 weeks). Prices are simply way too high for the...
Read moreThis restaurant appears to be quite popular among Vietnamese adults, as we had to make a reservation one or two days in advance just to secure a table for lunch. When we arrived, most of the other tables were also reserved, and the place filled up quickly, which honestly caught me by surprise.
We went with a set meal based on the staff’s recommendation, and they were patient and helpful in guiding us to a suitable option for our group. The food itself was solid, not exceptional, but definitely good enough to understand why this spot is considered a reliable choice, especially for group gatherings or client lunches.
One small issue we encountered was with the hotpot in our set meal. The server forgot to bring the lid for the pot, which caused it to take much longer to boil. It was a minor inconvenience, but given that the restaurant seems to aim for a higher standard of service, it’s something worth noting and improving.
They also offer a complimentary dessert bar, though the selection was quite limited. Expanding the variety of desserts would definitely enhance the...
Read moreThe food is tasty and hygienic, and the restaurant has a bright and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great choice for families, birthday parties, or group gatherings.
Food: 5/5 – The dishes here are quite delicious. My only issue is that the hotpot is placed rather high on the stove, which can be inconvenient for diners. Atmosphere: 5/5 – Spacious and comfortable, with private areas for small groups and long tables for larger parties. I visited on a relatively quiet day, so the experience was enjoyable. Decor: 4/5 – Bright and inviting. Price: 4.5/5 – Most dishes are reasonably priced, though some seem slightly expensive. Drinks, such as tea, are also on the pricier side. Service: 4/5 – The staff are polite, but I didn’t have enough interaction to give a higher rating.
