We recently ordered the Dinner at BENARAS RESTAURANT , expecting a flavorful meal with just the right amount of spice. Instead, what we received was a mouthful of pure, unrelenting fire.

The heat level in this dish was absolutely insane. It felt like they dumped an entire bottle of hot sauce into the dish without any regard for balance or taste. After just one bite, my mouth was on fire, and my eyes were watering uncontrollably. We couldn't taste anything except the overwhelming, painful spiciness especially CHILLY.

We understand that some people enjoy spicy food, but this was beyond excessive. It was as if the chef had something to prove, sacrificing any sense of flavor or nuance. Even the rice, which should have helped balance the heat, was somehow spicy too! The dish was inedible, and we couldn't finish it.

To add insult to injury, when we mentioned this to the waiter, he just smirked and said, "That's how it's supposed to be." No apology, no offer to fix it, nothing.

If you enjoy having your taste buds incinerated and your meal ruined by unbearable heat, then by all means, try this dish. Otherwise, stay far away from BENARAS . Trust me, it's not worth the pain.
