Perhaps the worst dining experience I've ever had at a higher-end restaurant. I arrived early for my 9:15 reservation. One other table with people on the 2nd floor upon arrival. The server tried to push the more expensive wine, which motivated me to go more towards the middle. Ordered the mixed salad, mushroom soup, and porcini fettuccine. A nice assortment of bread was provided quickly. The salad was pretty good - large and a decent mix of vegetables. The soup was ok; the pasta was the same. Encountered a tiny foreign object in the pasta, like a bit of a shell or something like that. Ok, those things happen. Had to pour my own wine as the server was busy on her phone in the stairwell. Then things got bad. At 10:11, less than an hour after arriving and way before my understanding of the closing time, and while still working on the pasta, I was presented with the bill. "Pay, please." No offer of dessert. Ok, whatever. I did my best to finish the wine, but at 10:27 I was told that I had 5 minutes to leave. Astonishing. Get there before 8:30 and maybe you'll have a fine dinner.
Edited: A nice response was provided by the restaurant. With proper staff retraining, the issues I experienced should not reoccur. It does have a nice atmosphere, so I may return to give it...
Read moreThis was a tourist trap. A way too overpriced low quality food.
Originally wanted to go to another places but it was full, so we decided to drop by this one. Wouldn’t even give it 1 star.
It costs like a decent restaurant but the quality of food is just so low that I don’t recommend to eat here at all for your health. It tasted like rubber. I think they just warm up low quality frozen food and serve it. Well, at least at was not rotten…
We ordered carbonara, Margherita, orange juice (which was actually mandarin juice) and lemon juice (the only thing you can consume here).
We were starving, paid around 650-700k and could not finish it at all. Did not want to take away these chemicals either.
For this price, you’d better eat 2-3 times in a different place. It’s so shocking that in this city such a place can get such a normal rating on Google maps. Only go to places with 4.7+ and...
Read moreThis place surprised us; we stumbled across it on google maps while in the area and needing refuelling after a long walk. Service was pleasant, attentive and staff spoke English well. The food surpassed our expectations: we thought it was going to be one of those typical Italian restaurants situated close to touristy areas; but we were wrong: antipasto platter was fresh and varied, indicating a high turnover; pasta cooked al dente and satisfyingly generous portion of clams in the spaghetti vongole; chocolate salami delicious and nutty. Recommended for a pitstop to rest weary legs and have a...
