Small and humble congee shop opened on the street, right in front of the owners’ house. House looks old and lots of locals eat here so I think this shop has been around for a while. Small chairs and tables so if you’re tall, you might want to take it to go. Usually it’s an older lady so I don’t know if they speak English. Delicious and hot congee, fried dough sticks (cut into small pieces) included. Toppings include pork ribs (sườn) [has bone so I never get this], dried shredded mushroom (ruốc nấm), dried shredded pork (ruốc), ground pork (thịt). They have pepper and chili powder if you want to sprinkle some on your congee.
