Kei korean restaurant — Restaurant in Hà Nội

This restaurant has recently been renovated, except for the food. We came when the restaurant was half filled (about 12 other people - 2 tables) but managed to eat after nearly 1 hour. Our order was very simple with 3 Korean traditional dishes. The meat and the beef rice roll were served first after 45 mins. We decided to give up the soup and asked to pay the bill after many times pushing and asking the waiter. Right after we were about to stand up, the waiter came with a small pot of soup and a bowl of rice. It was truly an unpleasant experience that made us never ever go back to this restaurant. Price was high and food was not excellent, not even good enough. Hope the kitchen will improve better...

The tokbokki was more chewy and tougher than what I'm used to.. The kimchi soup was what you expect it to be, there were just a few chunks of porks that I didn't quite enjoy. The bibimbab was nice. The squid pajeon was a bit too salty according to my friend who was having it. The place is nice and cozy and the servers was very enthusiastic and helpful, epcially the security guy. The food is objectively three stars but four stars for Vietnamese standard. Had the kimchi jiggae and while they were generous with the ingredients, the soup lacked a punch and they put these huge chunks of ginger in their kimchi that was really strange and unpleasant to me.
