I don’t want to be too savage for a patisserie in my own hometown, but this place has nothing special in terms of food, service, or even location.
Food: I remembered we ordered a coffee with salted whipped cream, an egg coffee, a new york cheesecake, and a tiramisu. For some reason drinks came first while desserts, laid nicely in the glass display only waiting to be picked up, took forever to be served. For the cakes, taste wise nothing special, although the texture was moist and soft. I like the iced salted coffee more than the egg one.
Service: I went there with my mom on a weekend morning; at the time there was no customer besides us. We were very patient given the slow service mentioned above for no reason. The most ridiculous thing was that the server never spoke a word when we walked in or when they handed us the egg coffee, but when other foreign customers stepped in, the staff greeted them nicely and even showed them how to consume the egg coffee “in a right way.” Then they moved on to our table and outright complained when we stirred the egg cream into the coffee. What an attitude! Occasionally the server came to check those customers, asking if the food was alright. I never received such questions from beginning to end.
Location: This is a very small space and if you sit in the back, you barely see the view outside. It could be situated in a convenient location, agreed, but I’d rather go to a place with an open-spaced seating or just buy something and sit by the lake to enjoy the nature.
Final verdict: I’d never go to this place again and will not recommend to any of my family and friends. I could give a 1-star rating for how terrible they treated locals with such condescending attitude, but I’ll be generous this time for the decent food and drinks.
If the owner or staff reads these reviews, I hope you take it as a constructive criticism and be more polite to the locals. I don’t want to play dumb and speak English to you should I ever visit this place again and reinforce ridiculous favoritism toward foreigners. Have...

Read moreWe found a hair in our breakfast but instead of attending to our table and apologizing, the on duty manager simply ignored us and walked about. When we expressed our displeasure, she went on to call the chef to apologize to us instead of owning the mistake as management. They bring every food from the main door walking besides the public road. I'm sure this violates safety standards in most places especially when you charge a premium. Their service is also slow and the food is very average. My partner's Banh Mi had sausages that looked straight from the frozen section of the supermarket and uniform gray color like store brand cheapest sausage with no real meat. Salad includes lettuce and tomato like this was the 90s. This is not a French patisserie and their service, quality of ingredients is nowhere close to...
