Genuinely my favourite hangout in Hanoi! Firstly the venue. It’s like you moms house. Posh house. It’s gorgeous.

Then there is the top floor, 3 floors up. Gorgeous fresh air. Well Hanoi air.

However we had gorgeous food. In fact other than the Metropole Hotel, the best food I have had. Nah. It’s as good as. Well done 👏 chef!

Then the service. The service! These lads are all over you. Blending into the background. Discrete yet incredibly attentive. My glass of wine never saw the bottom of the glass. Great guys! Huy and Dinh, these guys are on point. Best waiters in Hanoi. Credit must go to supervisor Tuan and owner Le Anh. Great place, great food, great ambience, great service.

Your go to...

My new favourite spot in Tay ho. Roof top bar opposite the lion mall. You can easily miss it as it's the ugly orange and green building 🙈 with a yorgut shop at the bottom. But it's a beautifully hidden and cool hangout. Staff speaks English, cocktails are soooo good. Cheapest being 155k. They have a buy 6 get 1 free cocktail offer and the food is so good. I recommend the chicken liver and kidney salad. So good! It's a couple of stairs to the top. They have a live jazz band on Fridays. And 2 more indoor seating spots each with balcony below the rooftop. Highly recommend...

The House Pub is a lovely atmosphere and great location. It has an excellent range of drinks, especially spirits and cocktails! Nice seating on the roof top as well as balconies and lots of in door space. We found the pricing to be reasonable and well worth paying because of the fantastic service from the owner who is so lovely and welcoming. There are lots of hand crafted items around the place that were made by the owner himself which gives the House Pub its own unique and personal charm.
