I recently visited “Memories Brunch & Cafe “and it was an experience that I'll treasure for a long time. This cozy spot has a nostalgic charm that transports you to a simpler time. The view from roof top is absolutely breathtaking, with the beauty of the Hoi An old town unfolding right in front of you, and it's the perfect place to enjoy a stunning sunset. The ambiance alone is worth the visit! The coffee is simply top-notch. it's clear that they take great pride in what they serve. During our day trip to the ancient town of Hội An, a visit to one of its charming cafés was a must. We chose Memories Brunch and Cafe, a cozy spot spread across three floors, offering both air-conditioned indoor seating and a breezy balcony. Given the sweltering heat that day, we opted for the cool comfort of the indoors.

We ordered a coconut milk coffee, which turned out to be delightful—smooth, rich, and refreshing. The staff was thoughtful enough to offer us some plain water as well. The café’s owner even took the time to greet us personally. She recommended an early morning stroll through the ancient town, when the streets are quiet and serene, offering a peaceful experience before the crowds arrive.

The location is magical, in the centre of the old town with a four storey building. Each room is impressive with high quality views and decoration. There is a glorious balcony overlooking the rooftops, which offers special photographs. The furniture is very relaxed and comfortable. The menu is very good with a combination of Western dishes and Vietnamese specialities. The meals are outstanding as are the fruit and spiced teas. The individually made banana bread is excellent as are all the pastries. The only problem with this cafe is that the staff simply go missing. There is no attention to customers and I found myself waiting for 20 minutes to attract attention then going all the way back to the counter, where I still had to wait because there was nobody on the counter. Nobody comes to clear away plates or to ask about the meal. A tumbleweed type of cafe where you wonder if everyone has left...
