I stayed in Hoi An on September 18, 2025, and had a wonderful experience. This hotel is in a great location—you can easily walk to Hoi An Ancient Town and enjoy both the day and night atmosphere. The price was very reasonable, and I was lucky to get a room with a beautiful, relaxing view.
When I checked in, the staff kindly recommended activities for me since I traveled without a fixed plan. She suggested I watch the Hoi An Memories Show, which I now also highly recommend—it was truly impressive! There are many other activities around as well. The staff spoke very good English, were extremely friendly, and made my mom and me feel very comfortable. My mom was so happy throughout our stay. If you’re not sure what to do, just talk with the staff—they’ll give you great suggestions.
One of my most memorable moments was during check-out. I became curious why Hoi An has so many tailor shops, so I asked the staff. She explained that tailoring is very popular and affordable here. Since I needed to leave for the airport at 3:30 PM and it was already 12:00 noon, she quickly recommended a tailor shop that could finish my suit in time. It was an amazing experience!
I traveled with my mom, and she enjoyed everything so much that she told me we will definitely come back again. I also strongly recommend this hotel for anyone...
Read moreWe booked a Twin Room with Riverview and called the hotel directly months in advance to confirm that the twin beds could be joined to form a large king bed, as we were traveling with our 3-year-old. The hotel assured us this was possible. However, upon check-in, we were given a room with a queen-size bed instead.
When we raised the issue, we were moved to another room that had a large bed—but no view. We were told it was the only available room with a king bed. We felt misled and disappointed, especially after planning ahead. We asked to speak with the manager, but the male receptionist seemed reluctant or too nervous to provide any contact details. Nothing further was addressed during our stay.
The hotel is about a 5–10 minute walk to the Old Town night market, and the room rates are reasonable. However, be cautious—the bathroom in our room had a wall made of perforated bricks, only covered by a roll-down blind. This allowed insects like ants, mosquitoes, and even spiders to enter the room, which we unfortunately experienced during our stay.
Breakfast was average, with limited variety, though the surrounding area has plenty of good restaurants. Overall, we were glad we only stayed for two nights and were honestly...
Read moreWe stayed in the ground floor room over Christmas 2024. ||We had a large, very comfortable bed and a pool just outside our door, which was more like a private pool as everyone else thought it too cold.||The hotel is excellently located just a short walk from walking street night market, Hoi An day market, the river with its bars, restaurants and boat trips, Japanese bridge, etc, etc.||The staff in this hotel are fabulous and willing to organise anything that you need, whilst the buffet breakfast is superb for a hotel this size and at the charge rate. The kitchen ladies are fantastic and will help with any request.||The downside, however, is a big one for me, in that we had a curtain separating the ensuite bathroom from the bedroom, which simply is not really acceptable nor practical.||It's not spectator sport stuff afteralk.||Furthermore, the oval type free standing bath may be aesthetically pleasing, but is totally impractical to shower in, as there is no shower curtain, resulting in a saturated and very slippery floor, which remained so for middle of the night trips to bathroom (no pun intended ).||I would stay again in a heartbeat but not without a wall and door separating the ensuite and a properly...
