Read moreI recently visited Au Patio, a charming spot with a lot to offer, especially for brunch enthusiasts. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the benedict eggs. While I was initially disappointed to learn they didn't serve it with salmon, the suggested alternative of adding mushrooms turned out to be a great twist that I enjoyed. It's clear they put thought into their dishes, which is always appreciated.
However, not everything was perfect. The coffee machine was out of order during my visit, which meant no coffee to complement the meal. For a brunch spot, functioning coffee equipment is essential, so this was a significant letdown. Additionally, while I understand the desire to encourage positive reviews, the presence of a dashboard offering a 5% discount for a 5-star Google Maps review left me feeling uneasy. Such practices can undermine the authenticity of customer feedback.
Overall, I'd give Au Patio - Brunch & Wine a solid 4 out of 5 stars. There's a lot of potentials here, and I believe with a few adjustments, they could easily become a go-to brunch...
Read moreAu Patio is a charming little brunch spot that opens from morning until mid-afternoon, so don’t expect any late meals here hehe. The vibe is all about outdoor café dining; there’s no air-conditioned space, so if you’re not a fan of Saigon’s heat, you’ll definitely feel it. Most of the guests are expats, and the service team (about 3 staffs) is genuinely friendly and attentive.
The menu is focused on brunch classics, don’t expect a ton of variety, as there are probably around 6 to 10 main dishes in total. There’s also a decent selection of coffee and drinks. Price-wise, brunch dishes range from 150,000 to 220,000 VND, and drinks are about 60,000–80,000 VND each, which is pretty reasonable for this area.
Au Patio is ideal if you want to sip coffee, have a relaxed breakfast, and soak up a bit of morning sun. Just keep in mind: if it rains and they pull the awning down, it gets pretty dark inside. Overall, it’s a cute spot to try, especially if you love an outdoor, laid-back brunch...
