The singer had a great voice, and the band played well too. However, their performance style felt a bit over the top and strayed from the usual jazz vibe. The repeated introductions of the band member playing the instrument became a bit tedious — doing it once would’ve been enough to make an impression. And the sound system also seemed to be ‘harsh’, making the singer’s voice lose its warmth. I think this should be improved to deliver better sound quality.

The venue itself was spacious and comfortable, with decent decor. That said, the lighting setup was too bright, which took away from the cozy atmosphere one might expect from a jazz night.

Only one singer performed throughout the entire evening, so for the ticket price, it felt a bit steep. It’s not really something I’d go to regularly, and that lowers the desire to return.

Could potentially become customers since our friends and colleagues have been performing here. Lovely atmosphere, they have jazz nights, musical shows, drag shows, theatre, etc.. (social media strategy is very effective) However, it took 3 weeks for a response on facebook business chat (already seen, no reply). Sent them another message, still seen, no reply until we rang the hotline asking why we’re being treated so disrespectfully. They apologized and blamed the meta business app for this unprofessionalism. This is a rookie mistake that should not be happening for a venue that’s been running for over a year ). Also, the business registration is missing one important industry code: 9000 for “Creative, arts, and entertainment activities” while there were lots of gigs that have been happening here. Bebop proudly claims to have the best cocktails in Saigon, and we absolutely agree! We might return solely for the excellent drinks and the staff’s fantastic hospitality.

However, the food was quite average and unreasonably priced. We ordered two starters (oysters and beef tartare) and two mains (fish and steak), expecting to be satisfied. Unfortunately, the mains were a major disappointment. They consisted of just the protein and sauce, looking plain and unappetizing, with no side dishes or garnishes whatsoever.
