This place has a lot of potential, however leaves much to be desired. Too many kinks to work out.
We made a reservation for party of 8, yet when we arrive, they could not find the reservation, and suggested that we split into 2 tables of 4. They also gave us the option of high chair, bar seating but that would’ve been uncomfortable for our grandma.
The menu is self-order, but the waiter didn’t come to take our drink order until asked. Overall, service was lacking in every aspect. They never remove empty plates of glasses even as they brought out new dishes and drinks. My dessert was served without a spoon and took so long to flag down a server, and even longer for her to bring me a main-course-sized fork.
Food generally was good when they came out. The xiaolongbao were our favorites. Siumai was also great, fresher than most dimsum places, great shrimp:fillers ratio. BBQ pork bun was so-so, too much bun. Chicken sticky rice in lotus leaf not very flavorful, big pieces of under-seasoned chicken breast. Pork ribs tasted decent. Egg custard bun was a bit bland, slightly sweet but lacking depth in flavor compared to other places. Pan fried pork bun not my favorite but was very well made. Juicy tender fillings, crisp browned bottoms. Desserts were whatever, would not recommend the red bean soup.
The menu is ordered in pieces, not portion. But some time the waiters increase or decrease amount as they see fit. For example, we ordered 1 fried rice yet they served 2. Ordered 2 ribs, and was served 3. This led to a lot of leftovers that we could neither return or takeaway as it was all-you-can-eat menu, dine-in only. Some of the dishes we ordered took like an hour to arrive, at which point we just asked for then to be packed up. Also I really wanted to try the baked BBQ pork cake but it never arrived although the waiter confirmed when he took my order.
Hopefully operations and training improve when I visit next. It’s worth...

Read moreValentine's Day Set Menu 2025: 1,300,000 VND++ The dishes in the set menu were average, and the presentation was also unremarkable. The best items in the set were the Sweet sauce white radish (side dish) and the mango sago cream dessert. The crispy fried sliced beef and the braised pork belly in soy sauce were too sweet and became cloying, and the beef was also a bit chewy.
Regarding the service, the staff was lovely and had a good attitude, but: We booked a table outside but were seated in a corner, hidden behind a pillar. Because we were hidden behind the pillar (I guess), the staff seemed to forget about us(?!)or something like that, but we waited for our dishes from 8 PM to 9 PM, and only after asking four times to four different people did the food finally arrive. It is understandable that the restaurant was crowded around 8PM to 8:30PM. But even after the busy time, we still have yet received the service. Meanwhile, customers who arrived later than us received their dishes first after waiting for only 15 minutes?! 😡 The secluded area didn't have staff regularly present, so it was quite difficult to find someone when we...
