Lavender Hotel 薰衣草酒店-住宿 — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

We're on a webjet holiday and not my favourite hotel so far. Centrally located, clean but it's only 2 star to me. Bar only sells beer and mocktails, buffet breakfast was terrible. Cold food being served. Bacon as tough as beef jerky. We got sick and asked for the room to be cleaned which they did quickly. But didn't change over glasses or teacups and tea pot. When I enquired I was told there are 2 cups there, but I said my husbands sick, 1 for Pho and 1 for tea and I'm not sharing. Then housekeeping huffed off got restaurant to send 2 cups and told me to rinse out the teapot myself after it had been used 24hrs ago! Loved this hotel, during our 2 week stay in HCMC. AMAZING AMAZING staff -- always very helpful -- as a female, they would always tell me to be careful or ask if I needed one of their staff to help me find my way to the store if I was looking for something specific or travelling late... delicious breakfast that changes regularly, very clean rooms, great scooter/bike service parking, PERFECT location. Lavender hotel really made me enjoy my Vietnam experience. We had stayed at an upscale hotel prior, and the experience just wasn't the same.

Pro tip: Visit the juice bar across the street :)

After reading reviews I didn’t know what to expect as far as the room was concerned! Yes the entrance lobby and restaurant are very very smart ! Check in was easy! Room was ok ! It was a good size, clean and ideal for our one night stay ! We didn’t have a view from the window as it was a frosted internal type window! Bed good! Bathroom a nice size! Breakfast was everything we needed! ||Position of hotel is ideal! The food market, and other market are about 3 mins away! ||If you fancy a meal go to the food market!
