Italiani's Pizza F5 Diamond Plaza — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

On September 27, we went to lunch at this Italian restaurant, it is located on the top floor of the Diamond Plaza shopping center. In short, a restaurant with good Italian food, the extensive menu includes pizzas 🍕, spaghetti 🍝, meat 🍖 and desserts 🍰 and they also have wine 🍷 imported from Italy, the service is done by guys, kind, friendly, smiling and above all fast.

FOOD AND DRINKS: What we chose from the very extensive menu, both from the choices of pizzas, pasta and meat, was all excellent 👌. From bruschetta, to pasta and pizza, the size of the portions was right, the presentation of the dishes makes you want to eat and an excellent thing that I found in all the places where I ate is that the dishes that you can't finish, you can take home. Also their beer 🍺 the Saigon is excellent.

PRICE: The final bill, for the bruschetta, 2 pasta dishes, 1 pizza and 2 beers, was about 950,000 dong (about 32 fr)

EXTERIOR AMBIENCE: Since the restaurant is in a shopping mall, as soon as you leave the premises, there is a lot of people coming and going, because there are other restaurants on the same floor, but I must say that when we went there were few people in the shopping mall and in the various restaurants, perhaps because the shopping mall is mostly frequented in the evening and especially by tourists because I saw that the prices are high compared to other places outside the shopping mall. Then the wonderful thing about the place is that it has a large outdoor terrace that is well-kept and furnished with a beautiful panoramic view of the city.

INTERIOR AMBIENCE: The place is well-furnished, with the pizza oven and bottles of wine on display, the place is large and has many tables.

ATMOSPHERE: The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly, you can smell the scent of Italianness🇮🇹, for the decor and the aromas of the various ingredients of the dishes. In my opinion, the Italiani's restaurant has succeeded with the dishes it offers, the decor to make you imagine being in Italy even if you are 10,000 km away.

SERVICE: What can I say, since I travel to Vietnam 🇻🇳 in the clubs, restaurants, hotels and shops I have been to, the service has always been cordial, friendly, professional and always with a smile and also in the ITALIANI'S restaurant the staff are all young, professional, kind, friendly, always smiling and quick in service. Well done 👏 I only hope that this welcoming spirit of the Vietnamese, that they have towards us, will remain because I fear that when there is a greater influx of tourists and therefore more "rude" people their spirit will wane and they will become like us Westerners who are losing the meaning of welcoming.

CONCLUSION: Fundamental question, when I am in Ho Chi Minh again, would I return or recommend to some of my friends to eat at ITALIANI’S restaurant? Yes, without a shadow of a doubt, I would return to eat again and recommend it to my friends who visit Ho Chi Minh and want good...

Came here for lunch on a slow Sunday with wifey and a friend. This restaurant is situated at 5th floor in Diamond Plaza which is very spacious and it has beautiful view to the open garden. We came in the afternoon so we couldn't sit outdoor due to the heat but we bet at night it would be very nice. So we might return some day in the evening.

I have to admit that the food portion here is quite big so it's definitely worth the price you pay. However, they don't do thin crust for their pizzas here so that's the only setback as my wife and I are more of a thin crust fan. We ordered a Seafood pizza topped with seaweed sauce alongside with a Caesar salad. Overall, the pizza is decently good but not outstanding like 4P's. I wish I had a chance to try more of other pizzas so I could review more but we were half full from another meal before that. Service was great. The staff was very friendly and attentive. He made sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely come back to try other pizzas.

I came here on a very strong recommendation of a colleague and this place absolutely rocks.

They have happy hour from 4-6 and an outside seating area so I got here at 5:30pm, had myself a bunch of half off drinks and enjoyed the sunset. Then the food came and honestly, it’s utterly amazing. I had beef supreme and seafood, a fall off the bone rib and wing combo, and a salad to ease the guilt. Honestly, the salad wasn’t even needed coz the food is too good for overeating regret.

Last but not least, the star of the dinner was the service. The server, Tuấn Khải, went above and beyond to made sure the meal was perfect. He made sure our food was warm (it was windy, food gets cold quick), our drinks were topped up with ice, and when it was about to rain, he immediately prepared an inside table.
