Fabulous! After a long drive from Nha Trang to here I was famished. I grabbed a grab over to Sabor based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. From the moment I walked-in until I left I was thrilled with the service and the food was delicious. This is a comfy and warm space with an open widow to sit and watch the world go by. I sat down and enjoyed a glass of the sangria very much especially since it was packed with fresh fruit that had been marinating in the alcohol. I began with the pumpkin soup. It was hot, light and nicely balanced and the toasted fresh bread was sprinkled with fresh rosemary and it complimented the pumpkin soup perfectly. Next I had the slow-cooked beef in red wine on semolina and was topped with beet chips and it was absolutely delicious. The beef was tender and each bite coupled with the mild flavor and textures of the semolina and chips was fabulous. I left stuffed and happy and I defiantly recommend enjoying a...

It took almost 25mins (I dont want to round it up to 30mins lol) to serve us the wine. We ordered simple ones such as sparking wine, so I believe that you dont need to do a lot of things to bring it up. I guess you wanna serve it together with food, but waiting too long will irritate your customers somehow and also will affect their feelings. We had 8 people and 3 of us ordered sparking wine, so freshness is really important. Since it took time for you to serve, when the wine arrived our table, there was almost no bubble on it. It somehow affected the taste of the wine. After this, everything was super nice! Your speed of serving was also getting faster. The waiters were nice and kind to support us. The food was all tasty with good decoration skill. The restaurant was cozy as...
Read moreWe have found good Belgian, French and Steak here in HCMC, so thought we would try Spanish. This place definitely has a good atmosphere with a lot of nice little touches in the decor. Service was also very good and friendly.
Unfortunately, we found the food to be pretty mixed. We tried a wide variety of tapas, larger courses and paella. Some of the tapas were quite nice. Others like the burrata and ham on toast had next to no flavor. The manchego and truffle arancini had very little of either. The sliced octopus with pumpkin puree was unique and probably the best of the small plates. The seafood paella was also disappointing. I am not a paella expert, but have had some decent ones in the states, and this fell short. Both the rice (a bit gummy, and no crispy edges) and the seafood (just shrimp and clams - no squid, fish or other common ingredients). So, all in all, a bit...
