I read a horror story about dental work in Vietnam but decided to take no notice and get my teeth fixed, I had one broken tooth and lots of other work to be done. This was the third place I checked out, the other two had no air-con and didn't appear to have anyone that spoke English. I couldn't be happier with their service, the receptionist was so friendly and was able to not only understand my English but was comprehendible. I needed to have a root canal, a crown and 8 fillings repaired, they also added cleaning and polishing to the quote which came to US$300. I was told it would take 3 days. The first day took a little over 4.5 hours, the second was 2.5 hours and the final day 2 hours. What amazed me is they didn't appear to be worried about how long it was taking and although their were others in the waiting area, I never waited. There were 2 dentists and an assistant in attendance the whole time. The assistant spoke better English than the dentists and was constantly singing to herself which really brighten up the place. I don't know how they did it so painlessly as I only got an injection on the first day. My entire holiday including airfares most likely cost less than if I had got my teeth done in Australia at a dentist that hurries the job so he can get home...

All the technology onsite in this large white clean air conditioned place ..I...

Firstly, I personally do not find a visit to the dentist’s an enjoyable experience.
The elderly dentist who attended to me was very experienced and detailed. He did a really good job in cleaning my teeth, which was relatively painless.
Next, there was minimal upselling - dentistry in Vietnam is relatively inexpensive for the basic services, and they usually profit from aesthetic add-ons like whitening.
The dental equipment however, feels somewhat dated, as the Patient Handpiece’s water delivery feels unnecessarily excessive, frequently splashing on my face.
Overall I felt the service was value for money and effective, though I still do not enjoy visits to...
