First let me start by saying I’ve been going here for 12 years since I first came to Vietnam. You can see by the photo I attach that I absolutely love this place and it is my favorite place in all of Ho Chi Minh City. This photo is me literally licking my plates clean because it’s that good.
But when it comes to the service, enough is enough. I refuse to go to the other store in District 2, because the service is terrible, because the staff are on their phones sitting under the stairs behind the counter and cannot see anyone come in the door, therefore, leaving you sitting there for too long while you’re on a lunch break.
Anyway, back to District 1. I went in there tonight, and within 60 seconds I had five different people come to my table and 3 of them trying to take my order. This resulted in my drink coming, and that was all. It makes me furious that one person cannot be left alone to deal with one customer and why they need to change the staff three times to deal with one. There was absolutely no problem with anyone’s English, and everything was going great until the big guy comes and powers over the small guy. If a staff member is doing fine why can’t they just be left alone. It blows my mind and brings an end to my going there.
I sat there, waiting for 15 minutes even though it was not busy at the time I went, and nothing came.
I’m genuinely saddened with this experience, but enough is enough.
Would I recommend the food there ?? absolutely 100% it’s the best you’ll ever get. But the service is tragic, and I could not be any...

The staff were all very good kind and clean and accommodating.
Secondly we loved the food here and especially the point where they gave us water because every other restaurant they don’t provide water for free and this is a basic human tendency and we really appreciate this act of kindness.
