Everything else was decent but beware the tuna belly (otoro) is 100% NOT otoro ie Ignore the first page on the menu! We were served regular tuna at first even though we paid much more for tuna belly. We asked the server to double check after 1 bite. Server came back and said she was certain it was belly. We didn’t agree so eventually the manager came and apologized and said the new chef mistook the regular tuna for tuna belly. He then offered us a new cut free of charge (obviously). Then came the ‘real’ Otoro. Even if you have never tasted Otoro before, you will notice it looks nothing like the photo. It’s not even another part of the belly - It was just regular tuna presented as fancy tuna. Either that or we have some really fit tuna out there with zero fat. we came in 2 ppl at 4pm and asked to have food upstairs but the staff said that the upstair area is only for customers coming after 6pm. however, at around 5:15, some guests came and had food upstairs. i felt unfair for this unclear explanation on whom and when to have food upstairs. is it because we are teenagers so we could not eat upstairs or is upstairs area only serving customers w advanced reservation? Very good sushi at an affordable price. There are 2 locations, I don’t recommend the location on Duong Ly Tu Trong. We went to that location mistakenly and the atmosphere and restaurant was very low quality. Chairs had holes in them and it was very dirty. We ended up leaving that location for the other location on Duong Don Du. What a difference! The service there was excellent and the restaurant was in waaaaay better condition that the first.
