Vesper Gourmet Lounge — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Came here on a Wednesday for their 50% off steaks, and it sure didn’t disappoint! We shared the prime rib, ordered it medium rare, and it was cooked just right. The seasoning was spot on, bringing out the rich flavors of the meat. If I had one small complaint, I wish it had been a bit more tender, but at half off, there’s really nothing to complain about! 😁 We also had 2 sides of the roasted potatoes with bacon and sour cream which was tasty, but we just wished there was more of it. We also had the asparagus, which was pretty standard.

Vesper has a great lounge atmosphere with attentive staff, making it an ideal spot for a quality steak, a drink after work, or just a place to unwind after a hectic day in HCMC. Will...

I also got to try one of the most unique cocktails I’ve ever had… ever had clam in your drink? Sounds wild, but it totally worked. Definitely not your average bar menu!

What keeps me coming back is the warm hospitality, the live music, and just the great vibes all round. Whether you're visiting or live in the city, this spot is a must-visit.

Used to be one of our favourite places, with great food and a really nice business set lunch. Went back there recently on a weekend night, and found the food still ok, even though presented differently.

But the place was empty.

Reason could well be that they raised their prices to levels you otherwise only see at places like the The Park Hyatt or other luxury hotels in Saigon.

Out of touch with reality, really.

Sad to see this ... but there are hundreds of other great gastro-bars and restaurants in town. I wish Vesper well, and thank the team for...
