I don’t know why but somehow I waited until I was in Hue before I had my first banh mi for this trip to Vietnam.
I feel it’s going to set the standard. Fresh roll, crisp greens and succulent pork and the sauce complimented the fillings perfectly. Caphe sua da was ok too although I feel I may need to return for the salt coffee.
Met Hue who showcased his tours along with his book of reviews showing many travellers satisfaction with his service. Despite the pitch (given intermittently while I was eating and dealing with work emails), myself and my partner decided to tour solo.

This is a true hidden gem for anyone wanting to experience real Hue cuisine, far from tourist crowds. I’ll definitely be...
