Jade Scene Hotel — Hotel in Hue City

I was very impressed with this place. The hotel is well run. Staff ensure you are taken care of. The rooms are spacious and open onto a balcony. Aircon works well and ensures you get a good sleep. The curtains block out the light from the window. The shower is hot (needs 15 minutes after switching on the heater) and comes with shower gel, razor, tooth brush etc. There is a mini bar so you can pop your water in there. You are supplied 2 bottles of water a day for free. There is also tea and coffee facilities. The swimming pool is great, lovely and cool and deep enough to splash about in (no life guard available). The hotel is in easy walking distance of most things. If you don't want to walk, they will hire you a moped. Just down the road is stop and go tours (see my review) so you can do guided tours. WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The upstairs seating next to the pool is great for a few drinks (from the local mart) with skyline views. The negatives; the balcony door is frosted glass letting lots of light into the room early in the morning and no way to block this. The walls / front door is paper thin so we were woken at 01:30 most nights and 06:00 by inconsiderate people taking loudly in the hall for ages. Serious lack of sleep due to this. It sounded like they had put families in different rooms and on different floors and that they all decided to meet outside our room. Huge shame and something to consider. Given the location near the bars, there was no sound from them at all. Can't fault the location the helpfulness of the staff or the cleanliness of the rooms though so from a 5 to a 4 due to...

We stayed at Jade Scene Hotel for 2 days in April 2023. We really enjoyed our stay - the staff were super friendly, bubbly and welcoming when we arrived and very helpful throughout our stay. You could tell they were all good friends and really enjoyed working there together. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we required (a safe, toiletries in the bathroom, free tea/coffee/water, bathrobes/flip flops). The breakfast was really nice and had a nice selection of fresh fruit, pancakes, bread and choice of eggs or noodles. The pool was lovely and the Spa and Sauna were amazing!

The hotel offered plenty of additional services e.g. laundry, transport and tour booking. We decided to go with the private car transport to 5 must-see sights in Hue: the Imperial Citadel, Tien Mu Pagoda, Tu Duc Tomb, Khai Dinh Tomb and Minh Mang Tomb. Our driver, Hai, was amazing! He was flexible with the time we wanted to spend at each sight and waited for whenever we were ready. On the way to each of the sights he gave us some information about the history of the tomb/pagoda and some sights along the way. He also suggested a place for us to have lunch and waited until we were ready to move to the next stop.

I would definitely recommend both Jade Scene Hotel and the private car tour with Hai if you are ever...

We had a wonderful stay at the Jade Spa Hotel in Huế! The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were spotlessly clean, and all the staff were lovely—always smiling and spoke excellent English, which made our stay as European tourists so much easier. They were always available to meet our needs with great kindness and professionalism.

We had booked two rooms, for ourselves and our children. Everyone was delighted!

The breakfasts were delicious, varied, and generous – a real treat to start the day off right.

Everything was flawless: cleanliness, service, location… everything was perfect. We will definitely come back to this hotel without hesitation!

A huge thank-you for the warm welcome, and a special mention to Peter (Hoàng), the hotel’s driver, who took us peacefully to Hoi An. He kindly stopped at several spots along the way so we could take photos – a truly lovely experience with a very friendly and considerate driver.
