This coffee shop is very basic and as noisy as any shop located along a busy road. It is strategically well located just south of the Tran Phu bridge.

Here's why I went there: traditionally, Vietnamese coffee does not taste very well when brewed the western way. The Hoan Tuan brand, however, may be brewed in a western style coffee maker or a press maker and it will taste very, very good, even without sugar.

You can enjoy a nice glass of iced coffee for VND 10,000 or purchase a 500g bag for only VND 40,000.

A large open place right across from the East Sea. There's quite a few location for this chain café in Nha Trang. A nice sea breeze is usually blowing at this one making it ideal for an afternoon coffee, or for a variety of yogurt smoothie and fruit drinks, as well as ice cream treats. Come to think of it it's ideal anytime. The lattes are a bit expensive at 47,000 VND, but that's just expensive by Vietnamese standards, $2.04 USD. The brand is a local brand in Nha Trang city so you may not see it elsewhere. It specializes in coffee so the menu used to be short and lack of options. However, recently it becomes more diverse. Beside coffee, you can have juice, chocolate, tea (milk tea). The juice is made from fresh local fruits like pineapple, watermelon, guava... Some fruits are seasonal like apple or strawberry.
