Family Secret — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

The place has recently been opened so isn’t well known yet. But it’s definitely worth a visit or two …or more. It’s already quite popular among local expats, though.

The level of the restaurant is noticeably higher compared to the options nearby. The food is exquisite and on the healthier side. Every dish looks exactly like its image on the menu and tastes even better than looks. It tastes like home but better and fancier. Once we found the place we went there every single night for dinner. Kids are also welcome there. There are many options to eat for them too. There’s a swing and playing space on the second floor to have some fun while adults dine. If you’re tired of awkward chairs and small tables, the place is for you. Seating is very comfy while the space itself has nice design and is very cozy. There’s no annoying loud music or karaoke onsite. So it’s good for a romantic date night too. Staff genuinely care about you and your experience. They speak English, Vietnamese, and Russian there. So if you have special requests or dietary restrictions they’ll understand and comply. We have some restrictions so staff kindly took care of our request. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet the owner of the place in person. They have another restaurant in the city. It’s called Sweet Secret and it’s so popular that it’s packed all the time. This restaurant is small but decorated tastefully by the owner and his wife. It has two floors, but it doesn't have many seats therefore perfect for couples or small groups.

Waiters are friendly and they speak fluent Russian and  decent English.

We returned to Family Secret many times, because the service by Alex and his love and care for the dishes are outstanding. We highly recommend the salmon! The potion is bigger than we expected but quality was amazing. Price was only 90vnd! The grilled lamb shish kebab was juicy and had a lot of flavours. We also tried the grilled Dorade. It was served simple but fresh and the sauce was really nice.

What a hidden gem. Tuna salat tartar is so tender and delicious, well balanced and freah ingredients, best quality tuna. Also the dorada was recommended, as we were going to order salmon, but dorada was so juicy and tender, very well condimented, best fish I ate in Vietnam. Also the oysters, vietnamese style were very good and fresh. The ambience is very welcoming, chair benches are comfortable. Also nice decoration with attention to details.
